As soon as we pulled up to our house in Palm Springs last week, one thing that immediately struck me was how beautiful the plant life was – and how different it was to what I’m used to on the East Coast. I’ve always had a thing for desert plants — and I have lots of little potted succulents scattered all around my home — but to see them actually growing from the ground was so cool. It has become that time of year when people are jet-setting around the world for a vacation, and for me preparing for the on-flight experience is just as important as packing for your vacation.
