Post image for The Significance Of Circular Shapes

Something about the circle always seems to lure me in. Looking around my home, it’s hard to find a piece of décor that’s angled and rigid in nature. Everything seems to be spherical, round, flowing…

I loved this post, unfortunately as I looked upon the screen around my living room I realised that everything is square... need to change that I think. love the comparison between circles and planets :)

I am a lover of circles as well! The seed of life symbol is 7 circles inside of 1. I got it tattooed on my wrist when I was in Peru 4 years ago, and then named my acupuncture practice after the symbol; Seed of Life Acupuncture. http://seedoflifeacupuncture.com

Happy birthday to you too, Alexandra, Elizabeth Rose, Anne, Carli, and Isabella! Best wishes! xx
Isabella -Apr 30, 2015, 3:36AM
Yesterday was my birthday too. I turned 22. As I climbed into bed at the end of the day, I felt an overwhelming power of release. I was able to let go of the trials that I faced throughout the previous year. I'm now a year older, and feel in a position where I am in charge of what happens next. It's exciting and really, being content with who you are and what you have, is the best birthday present anyone could ask for. Love Isabella Www.isabellamozzarella.co.uk

Reminds me to get my son's disposable from a few years ago developped. It was from his trip to visit his great grandfather in NJ. He travelled with my mother and brother to Monticello as well. I so want to learn his perspective at that age.

Time is really the most expensive essence we have on this Earth. It's so important to not let it go to waste, and I cherish all the memories I can reminisce of.

I love the simplicity and beauty of these photos! I feel like so many of us are wrapped up in the work world and we forget to stop and enjoy nature. This gives me such a peaceful feeling, reminds me I need to make time for some sort of vacation this summer. Thanks for sharing!
Ana Luisa -Apr 23, 2015, 6:41AM
Very beautiful and inspiring post. I also grew up in a small town very close to the sea so I know how heartbreaking it can be to see the beaches being mistreated, especially during summer when tourists come. I loved your story. :) http://www.terra-e-luna.blogspot.com

I love this post so much. It is so easy to get lost in the city and the concrete and technology and forget that we need to connect with our roots and nature. Your tips for keep nature in your home are really nice, and your photography is really beautiful - thank you for the post xxx

I try really hard to unplug on a daily basis. Although it's not always easy, I find that meditating for at least ten minutes helps to clear my chattery mind!
Kit -Apr 15, 2015, 2:30PM
While, it's something I still find difficult, what with my type-A personality, I find a quick drive out to the beach or the Everglades a good way to unplug and focus on the sounds of life all around that doesn't need batteries. When I have a weekend, I'll head down to Key West and soak in the unhurried atmosphere. I also travel a lot, so having favorite music, headphones, and my sketchbook on hand can help me unwind even in the busiest airports. I love that sheer blue skirt/dress in the 7th and 9ths photos (worn with the black jacket) what is that piece?
