I love it when spring comes and the trees start to blossom and the streets are full of color and scents that awaken you. I often walk the streets picking the fallen petals. Whether it be for my sketchbook or simply just to decorate a braid I’m wearing for the day. I always find it gives you a little added happiness when you have a flower in your hair. Read more »

My most profound memories of my younger years are the caravan holidays I went on. My parents, my sister, and I used to pack small suitcases and then we would drive 4-6 hours to our destination. The destination was usually the English coast line and there, my imagination used to run wild. Having four of us crammed into a little caravan was kind of magical; small little beds, a tiny kitchen and a sitting area that could barely seat 2 people, but I loved it, it was quirky there were no mod-cons, just quality time with the family. We would wake up in the morning, get inventive with breakfast, and then head out for long coastline walks. Read more »

Whenever I like certain clothing items, I like to create a mood board around them to create a story and a feel that will help me when I’m trying to style myself. I choose fashion photos that have emotions or attitude in them and then I start adding my items to the board. The streets of LA smell like jasmine, it’s true! Every morning when we left The Chamberlain, our senses were woken by sweet flowering scents making us drift happily through the West Hollywood hills. The LA voyage was a research trip where our buyers seek vintage finds for inspiration for future trends. And I… I was there to photograph our lovely Beach Designer at her Echo Park cottage and to hunt down street style at the famous Rosebowl Flea Market.
