Oh imagine it on a summer night with stars dancing across the sky and little mason jars with candles placed around. And fireflies. Oh my gosh. The beauty.

Take a picture of the item, then if you loose it you can still look at the picture and the memories will come back to you:) Another piece of advice (may not pertain to you but does pertain to the blog)...try not to attach yourself to things (it is hard when someone has passed or no longer in your life but you have to keep in mind it is not the item but what the item represents). If you find happiness inside yourself you won't need to acquire things for fulfillment and/or happiness. Life is not about what you have it is about the time you have and how you share it with others.

Post image for 5 Ways to Detox (Mentally and Physically) for the New Year

Thanks a lot for this post. It was amazing, I also like the use of the stick as a way to speak out what we need to let go of. It's like you are putting that thought, feeling, etc. into the stick and leaving it behind. I appreciate that.
Jessica -Jan 07, 2015, 10:08AM
2015. I am beyond excited to start this New Year. I feel loved, happy and proud of the woman I'm becoming and the woman I will eventually learn to be. I took my first Yin Yoga class, started journaling again, freed myself of something(s) that were holding me down and incorporated more things that I LOVE. I follow your posts daily, and wanted to thank you for inspiring me! Happy New Year, Looking forward to reading more.

Post image for Just Write: It’s Time to Start a Journal

When was the last time you set pen to paper? Words flowing from heart, to head, to hand; the curling script of your signature scrawl looping across the page? Read more »

I started to write on a journal right before the Holidays. I've felt a little empty or in search of something I'm still trying to understand, but it's been so great letting go of some of my thoughts into pages or accepting my feelings by writing them down. I do, however, feel like I can write about the same things so I love the prompts you suggested. For the next couple of days I'll be referencing them, and trying to dive deeper into myself for growth.
Racheal -Jan 16, 2015, 3:03PM
I too wanted to use my journal a lot more. I stuck to a lined journal but glad that you recommend using an unlined journal. This way you can let your creative mind do as it please. I think this breaks up the creativity, it is endless with what you will do each day. I think for my I always want it to be very detailed so it's either black or white. I need to work on letting myself be fee and stop trying to be so strict and focused on one type of route.

I had been practicing Abhyanga all along and had no idea!! Glad that the Universe led me to utilizing this self care practice. Not I will do it even more!!
Pauline -Jan 08, 2015, 6:40AM
Abhyanga is a really great thing. I also keep promising to myself that I will do it more often. It's best when you do it every day, but I don't find time for it as often as I'd want to. It's worth noting in my goals list, so thanks for the reminder! I will write it down! :)
