Post image for FP Me x FP Shoes

As part of our August Magalog, we featured some awesome shoe shots from our lovely FP Me users.  With this being the week of all things shoes, today we wanted to share some of the outtakes! As Julie mentioned in this post, shoes can say so much about your personal style – I love the insight these shots give into the shoe-wearers’ personalities. Read more »

My absolute favourite shoes are my cowboy boots - they're Canadian made & they fit me so well. It seems the more I wear them, the better they look - and I love that they're so multipurpose! They're great for when I ride, sure, but they're just as good with a pair of jeans. http://northernrustication.blogspot.com

I love the calf-length boots as I usually find ankle boots a bit too masculine and aggressive for my taste. Although I do love ankle boots with featured cut outs. Warm regards, Alexandra www.littlewildheart.com

Post image for Interview: Natalie Bergman of Wild Belle

“The first album was about loss and heartache,” says Natalie Bergman, who makes up one half of the musical act, Wild Belle, along with her older brother Elliot. “The new one [album] is really about finding love and talking about how I don’t ever want to lose it because it feels so good.” Read more »

Post image for Jenny Bahn: Story Of Model To Writer

It was 2008 and I was living with my then-boyfriend in Los Angeles, sharing a ‘20s style duplex with hardwood floors and jalousie windows that leaked cold air during California winters. He was—and is—a photographer. We met on the set of a shoot I didn’t want to show up for on account of extreme sleep deprivation and general laziness. I remember the point when he reached over and pushed my chin towards the light in a certain way and I could tell, right then and there, that this was the person for me, at least for a time. No matter the duration, you meet people for reasons, and his was to push me towards another chapter of my life, which was out of a career modeling and into writing. Read more »

This is just what I needed. I too am at that crossroad wondering if I should really leave my mediocre and uninspiring HR job and take a chance on my passion without knowing anyone in that industry. There's something in me that feels like it'll work out but uncertainty is just an unly doubt away. This post was like a warm blanket of reassurance. Thank you for your story.

So, so inspriring. I’m also moving to NYC with hopes of it opening up oppurtunities before me(just like every other white, middle class gal in America, eh?). It’s funny how life happens and there are catalysts to lead us to our true selves. You just never know unless you try it. Props to you for searching, not settling!

I'm so looking forward to breaking out my leather jackets again! Every fall they curl around my shoulders like an old cat and I've missed them dearly.

I just adore big, chunky, fuzzy coats (and shearling!) especially if it has a pop of color or some crazy, unique detailing. My favorite coat is a faux fur black and white horizontally striped one - definitely always get stopped and asked about it whenever I wear it out! xoxo Sara http://www.restlessnomads.com

Post image for August Sneak Peek: The Magalog

No, that is not a typo – we’ve dubbed our August catalog the “magalog” because for the first time, we’ve compiled a book that is part magazine, part catalog!
