I’ve been meaning to write about this album for a couple of weeks now – it’s pretty much been on repeat since I first listened to it. The Year of Hibernation is the debut album from Youth Lagoon, aka Trevor Powers (a former urban employee!) who has seen incredible success from the LP, which he recorded in his bedroom.  Read more »

I'm absolutely in LOVE (obsessed) with TWIN SISTER! I have been listening to them nonstop this past year. I have been to two of their shows and they just blew me away with their amazing sound. Andrea can be a bit awkward at times but she def. puts on a wonderful/mesmerizing show with the rest of the band. They're gonna be playing in LA in February and I'm def. not missing it :-) So glad you guys blogged about them <3 P.S. If anyone wants to check out some pics and vids I made for their past shows, you can visit my blog: jennitalolita.blogspot.com :-)

it's always lovely to hear different types of music, with the rapid widespread use of the internet to spread music there are so many new types and kinds readily available to all. It's not always easy to find decent music. Thank you for posting this.

Post image for Tunesday: Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.

I like bands that are difficult to figure out.  The ones that can’t be pin-holed as a certain genre, and are nearly impossible to describe when someone asks you “what kind of music is it?” Usually that means they’re doing something different, and that is definitely the case with Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. Read more »
