WOW!!!!! AMAZINGLY beautiful ^_^ I knew I would like it right when I heard the guy beat that guitar with powerful strumming. Every single instrument and band me member and videographer deserves a round of applause. Thank you so much for sharing. These are the little things I appreciate in life...finding new music.

Post image for Musical Highlights At Shaky Knees Festival

I know we’ve said it before but I’ll say it again – the lineup at this year’s Shaky Knees fest was incredible. But, as with most festivals, there are always shows you simply aren’t able to make it to. We had a packed schedule during our time in Atlanta, so unfortunately there were several bands we just weren’t able to catch – but the ones that we did catch, well they made it well worth it for me. Music plays an important role in almost everything that I do.  But it’s particularly important to my work-outs.  So important, that it’s hard for me to get myself in the right mindset without it.   Read more »

Post image for Band Crush: Meet Cardiknox

Our Seattle visual manager Nikki recently spent the day with Lonnie & Thomas of the band Cardiknox in their hometown of Seattle.  Nikki documented the band throughout the day as they did a bit of wandering, hit up the local record store, found a photo booth, met the cutest bull dog named El Capitán, and grabbed a cone from Molly Moon’s, the best ice cream in Seattle. It’s safe to say, these two are our latest band crush – meet Cardiknox, and listen to their incredibly catchy song “Wasted Youth” below! Read more »

Just two more days until we head to Atlanta (my first time visiting!) for Shaky Knees! I’ve been in festival withdrawal since SXSW so I couldn’t be more excited for some live music and sunshine.  What originally drew us to this festival was its incredible lineup, and I have already made my list of bands who I absolutely cannot miss. Post image for New Music We Love

Now that the weather is finally nicer in Philly, I’ve found myself going for long walks whenever I have the chance. I put in my headphones and walk slowly, taking in everything around me – the people, nature, and especially the music flowing into my ears. There are a few artists in particular who have been on heavy rotation lately, so today I wanted to share some of them with you. Read more »

Post image for On The Road To SXSW With Ruby The Hatchet

At this year’s SXSW we hit the road with local band Ruby The Hatchet to get a behind the scenes look at what the festival is like from a musician’s perspective. A few days before the festival began, the band loaded up their van and started the 35+ hour drive from Philadelphia to Austin. From van troubles to late night gas station stops, to showcases and tattoos, the end result is a

Post image for SXSW 2014: Willow Wood Music’s Top Picks

As mentioned in this post, while in Austin we had the pleasure of meeting two very cool ladies, Lauren and Nicola of Willow Wood Music.  These two gals are paving the way for themselves in the music scene with their awesome blog, and are just coming off of a successful showcase they hosted at SXSW.  This rarely happens, but I seriously love every band they mention — their taste is spot on, and they’ve got a great ear for acts to look out for.
