Post image for What To Pack For Glastonbury (And A Playlist!)

The UK’s largest festival kicks off this week — Glastonbury! It feels like it’s been forever since the last Glastonbury because there wasn’t one last year, but they’re making up for it with an incredible lineup of bands this year and we wish we were traveling across the pond to be there! They always do an amazing job of mixing new and old acts, with a huge range of musical genres. Here’s a look at what we’d pack, and a playlist of our favorite bands playing the festival. Read more »

Post image for Devendra Banhart Live At Union Transfer

I remember when I was first introduced to Devendra… It was during my university days. My best friend and I stalked a band on Myspace and went to see them when they played at a small venue in Bristol. After the show we had a few drinks with the members and — as you’d expect when you socialize with a band — music was the number one subject. They told us to listen to Devendra Banhart and so we did… and we fell in love. Read more »

It seems like ages ago that I was in Austin for SXSW, when in reality it was only a couple of months ago. But I still remember very clearly being in a dimly lit room with oriental carpets for Rdio’s private recording session with Alpine. Read more »
