Nikki, don't let that reading fool you!!! Every single serious nutritional investigation demonstrate the opposite. Critical heat point of olive oil is 410°F / 210°C!! In fact no other oil can go that high. It's true that has more benefits when raw but if you want to cook, olive oil is the healthier option, just do it with extra virgin olive oil at 375°F / 190°C. There's a tabu about frying with olive oil but: 1st Olive oil do not soak into food as other oils. 2nd It doesn't produce toxic elements, as seed oils. 3rd Olive oil keeps his physical and nutritional properties, you can even reuse it!!! You are looking for a healthy cooking oil?? Then look for a good extra virgin olive oil, specially picual variety.

Nikki - Coconut oil has more saturated fat than olive oil and has more monounsaturated fat which is good for heart health (in moderation of course). According to the Cleveland Clinic olive oil wins against coconut oil as the healthier option. It is a common misconception that coconut oil is healthier. http://health.clevelandclinic.org/2013/10/olive-oil-vs-coconut-oil-which-is-heart-healthier/

I've done some patching using embroidered motifs cut from vintage doilies and runners onto denim and cutoffs. It's also a great way to cover stains in shirts. I cut out lace motifs from a table cloth and sewed them all over a tee starting with the coffee stain I was covering up.

Liz - I would recommend either hand washing with a very mild detergent or taking them to a dry cleaner (the dry cleaner is most likely your best bet)

Post image for The Only Zucchini Salad Recipe You Need

I’m gonna blow your mind right now: Zucchini is — botanically speaking — a fruit. I’ll let that sink in for a sec … OK, all good? A versatile plant, zucchini lends its fruity side to sweet baked goods, like muffins and bread, but it is most often used in savory dishes since it’s usually treated as a vegetable. And if you haven’t acquainted yourself with this bright green squash, you’re missing out because we just so happen to be in the middle of zucchini season. Read more »

Sage is a medicine, you can use it for this purpose. It's for everyone to use. if there is dangerous energy in the home you'll feel it and would then want to call in a "spiritual master". using your intuition is better than embracing fear.
shelly -Aug 11, 2014, 5:40PM
People should note that it's VERY dangerous to tamper with energy if not properly trained in it. People spend years becoming spiritual masters and this kind of thing should not be taken lightly. Too often sacred practices are mistaken for easy (and not to mention trendy) activities and this can put folks in some bad situations. Energy is POWERFUL, people.

I agree with Renee as well. Also, I think media created all this hype about buying organic. Yes, it is great in theory, but after talking to quite a lot of farmers, I realized everything is not so black and white and I am more than satisfied with normal, non-gmo food. Great post though! :) Aniqa x aniqadreams.blogspot.com
