Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial! I searched quite a while for a good one, that explains everything perfectly well. And since I don't have Photoshop or Lightroom, I will definitely give Polarr a shot.

Post image for Preserving the Essence of Yoga with Aarona Ganesan

As yoga moves into the future and spreads its wings over western culture, are we preserving its true roots or morphing it into something else entirely?

This was so great. It's something I've been thinking about a lot since I started practicing yoga - am I doing this correctly? Am I truly embracing the mental and spiritual parts of the practice or am I just adapting the physical part? It's probably things I'll never truly know the answers to, but I still think I get a more mindful and meaningful practice by regularly asking myself those questions.

You are a true cat lover. I speak to mine the same way I would not travel with him though. He is very spoiled and does get a sitter. However he is keeping me from traveling for any length of time. Great tips if I get that brave. Happy holidays.
Meg -Dec 23, 2015, 2:35PM
If you have two cats (and they get along), get a bigger dog crate and let them ride together instead of in separate carriers. Mine are nightmares when they go to the vet separately, but I drove across the country with them together, and they were quiet!

Hey Amanda - Thanks so much. We stayed all over the country, using mostly Air BnB's. I would suggest traveling the country as well. Look up itinerary for the full ring road, and you'll see other people's suggestions on what to do and where to stay. Only advice is to not stay in Reykjavik the whole stay! There's so much beauty outside of the city that you need to see while there. That said, Reykjavik is incredible as well, but you only need a few days there. x
Amanda -Jan 02, 2016, 9:22PM
This post is everything! I pulled so much inspiration from reading this. I'm going to Iceland at the beginning of March and don't have an itinerary or a place to stay yet. While doing this road trip, where did you guys stay?

Suggestion: Buy a can of regular, full fat coconut milk from the Asian food section in your grocery store or at and Asian market - make sure it's 3 ingredients OR LESS. Scoop the contents (not too much of the liquid) into a bowl or container and whip with sugar to taste. You'll have an excellent whipped cream consistency to put into your coffee or tea in the morning (or ANY time). Put 3 table spoons of the whipped coconut cream into your drink of choice and let it sit for 3-5 minutes. Ta da! A lovely latte made right at home. Enjoy! : ) *You can microwave it for a minute if it gets cold and have nearly the same effect. **Put it in your hot cocoa or Teechino or hot carob!! Don't forget to had another scoop for the top!!!

I found out I was lactose intolerant about four years ago. I made the switch to soy milk first, but did experience some of the side effects others have mentioned. After trying a few different kinds of milk I settled on almond milk. The main reason was vanity, while I was trying different milks I realized that both soy and coconut milk were causing breakouts. It's one of the side-effects that the estrogen in soy milk can have on the body.
