Was just wondering if FP have had the 6 pack of beautiful stud earrings made with better quality metals yet. Read several comments about customers ears having really bad reactions to the metals that were used in the sets.

Ashley -Mar 03, 2014, 3:09PM
Mmmhmm... so excited to wake and feel that fresh spring air dancing delicately in through the open window and calling me out to dance the car down the road with good folks searching for wildflowers and the like. Evocative imagery of words, and these BW photographs - my eyes are gulping their subtle beautiful two tones - I'm loving the first three images of this story in particular! Mmmmhmmm indeed...

Post image for How & Why To Draw Mandalas

This post comes from contributor Kristen Hedges. Read more »

It's important to remember the cultural and spiritual history of the mandala as well, before just doodling away. The mandala traditionally is used in a religious ceremony (a puja) to represent the universe - drawing one meant that the universe was symbolically represented as a presence and a witness to the ceremony.
Erin -Mar 09, 2014, 11:49PM
Another doodler here. I actually didn't know the name for these types of doodles. You gave me such a great idea for an art project I had been putting off for lack of inspiration. Thank you. XOXO, Erin

My daughter forwarded me your post on Monday, March 3rd about not knowing what lies ahead of us after meeting someone. This was quite a coincidence since I just sent a local magazine an article I wrote about how A Simple “Hello” Can Lead To a Million Things. A simple handshake with someone from Gulu, Uganda led me to become aware of the people and their struggles. This handshake also empowered me to help build a nursery school there and sell paper beads for a women's group and visit there last May. This has been an amazing experience. Be careful who you shake hands with! Just wanted to share, great blog!

You never know from where things may fall in love, or maybe you’ll find a best friend. All the time, all options are happier when you least expect it; I'm always thinking of fashion, just recently reading an article about how profound Cubism was from the beginning -- someone's handshake where maybe love, or maybe a lifefriend came into your heart. Post image for Vegan Coconut Black Rice

I love eating so very much, and I love to make my own food as well, but I’m certainly not one for complicated recipes. This rice incredibly easy to make — and equally as delicious. I came up with this recipe one night last week when I was feeling (slightly) adventurous, and I was blown away at how delicious it came out!

This cake was amazing. Not only does it not taste "vegan", but I will now be using it as my go-to chocolate cake recipe.
Nicole -Mar 06, 2014, 2:06PM
I just made this last night; it was excellent! Everyone in my family enjoyed it--including the non-vegans :) There were a few changes to suit the contents if the kitchen: I used Olive oil instead of canola (it worked great with the not-too-sweet chocolate) and made a chocolate glaze instead of a frosting. Otherwise, I'm planning on keeping this recipe for the future!
