New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and to celebrate entering a new year everyone needs a special dress. I asked two British girls and two American girls if they could choose any Free People dress to wear to a New Year’s Eve party, what would it be? I did this mainly to be nosy but also to see if there was a distinctive style difference between the British and the Americans.
Cranberries are one of my favorite berries, and I love them in every form: ripe, dried, juiced, you name it. Their sweet and sour taste makes them addicting – dried cranberries are one of my favorite things to snack on. Can you imagine walking through a room that is dramatically lit and there’s rain falling from the ceiling? You would expect to get soaking wet, right?
Think again… right now at The Barbican, London there’s an art installation by Random International at The Curve Gallery in which you control the elements. A 100 square foot field of falling water is before you and as you step into it you’d expect to get wet but, surprisingly you don’t. There’s so much to take in from each image that I find myself looking at them again and again, letting my eyes travel from the clothes and jewelry to the hair and makeup, and the beautifully printed backdrops, taking my time to soak it all in.
