My main purpose for going down to Austin during SXSW was to take one of our Heart Strings guitars with me and get it signed by some awesome musicians – with the help of Yours Truly, who were there to capture it on film, we got Gary Clark Jr., Lee Fields and the Alabama Shakes to sign the guitar that will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the charity Music For a Cure. I’m back from South By Southwest, but I think a part of me is still in Austin. Every time I go I fall more in love with the city, and even though it’s a little bit chaotic during SXSW it’s an amazing experience. I spent three days taking one of our Heart Strings guitars from place, getting it signed by musicians (more on that tomorrow), all the while making some awesome new friends and hearing some incredible live music. Great photo diary. It makes me want to be there. Doing a fashion editorial at the yours truly house would have been super cool. You should do a shoot with the guitars you are raising money with. Get some amazing girl musicians for it w/ FP clothes. Or could be models like the Duran Duran video w/ Cindy Crawford & supermodels of the 90's.
