Yeah, I agree with Victoria - I would probably use a third as much spinach and half as much parsley.
Julia -Jul 22, 2013, 7:52PM
I made this for my family, and it smells great. However, there was way to much spinach, and it took forever for the broth to be absorbed I only used a cup because the rice was al dente when it finally absorbed.

Post image for Benefits Of Swimming In Seawater

One of my favorite parts of summer is submerging myself into seawater at the beach for the very first time. I love the feeling of calm that surrounds me as soon as my head sinks beneath the water’s surface. Read more »

I look forward to the first swim too :)
Leslie -Jun 27, 2013, 7:08PM
One thing i do before going to the beach is put a little (or a lot) of Moroccanoil Treatment in my hair to keep it from drying out. I get wonderfully windswept hair (especially with my naturally wavy hair) without it getting too dried out.

I actually did this but with a slight twist. I added a piece of plexi glass to the front and some of the sand as well. It looked really nice with the embroidered card stock, shells, bit of driftwood and feathers. I really appreciate the idea, it was fantastic and easy to do, I just added the plexi glass because I have all these vials of sand as well, and this was a great way to use one of the larger ones.

This is super neat for anyone who likes nature. It's a great way to display treasures and memories. I actually have a small picture display in my house using vases instead of frames, so I'm always looking for more neat display ideas. Post image for The Yin & Yang Of Summer Solstice

This guest post is from FP Naomi, who we are so excited to welcome back as a contributor to the BLDG 25 Blog! Read more »

Marki -Jun 22, 2013, 12:18AM
While this post is lovely, has a great spirit around it's intention, and is in general a beautiful message, it is mis-information and a solstice is NOT the same as an equinox. Rhiannon is completely correct in her explanation.... http://www.meetup.com/Malibu-Shamanic-Training/events/107428812/ Yin and Yang are a great description of Spring energies.
Rhiannon -Jun 21, 2013, 5:34PM
Sorry to be a downer on this first day of summer, but I know a lot of people read this blog and I don't want them to be mis-informed. The solstice is not the same thing as the equinox; in fact they are opposites. Summer Solstice (today) is the longest day of the year before the days begin to grow shorter again. The Fall (September) and Spring (March) Equinoxes are the two days of the year when night and day are equal (and yin and yang in balance, I suppose). The Winter Solstice (December) is the shortest day of the year before the days begin to lengthen. Details, details, I know. Just wanted you guys to know. You may delete my comment, but please change your mis-print! Thanks. :)
