Post image for Spring Nail Polish: Colors We Love

Come warmer days my nails come alive with color, like buds on a tree. I love the slight bit of happiness they bring when I glance at them and when I’m typing on my keyboard. Read more »

I love both! I currently have on Essie Where's my chauffeur? and I love it!! What brand/shade is the coral orange in this photo? I love it and it's so hard to find a good one for fair skin.

Living on a ranch, I'll just appreciate those lucky ladies who get to wear nail polish! My feet are in boots year round especially during the spring/summer (let's hear it for rattlesnakes) so I'm most happy with a pedicure, and then (also being an artist) I allow for creative freedom for the pedicurist with my toes! :-)

Post image for The Little Details Inside My Home, From Our Fashion Writer

I live in a small row home in Fishtown, Philadelphia. It’s old and I like that. A trickle of sunshine seeps through on a sunny day… that’s when my home feels the most magical — and at night when then sun is going down and I get to light my favorite candles. Inside my home is quite simple. I moved here from the UK with one suitcase of clothes, so I’ve been gradually collecting things over the years that mean a lot to me and tell a story. Read more »

Post image for Musical Highlights From Coachella 2013

The lineup for this year’s Coachella was pretty incredible, and one of the hardest things about being at a festival is not being able to see every band you want to see. Sometimes just going with the flow is the best approach, and some of the bands you didn’t plan on seeing end up being your favorite shows.  Read more »

Post image for Summer Essential: The Lightweight Jacket!

A summer jacket is a must for those days when there’s a little breeze. A lightweight jacket that’s fun, summery and cool enough to throw on top of your tank tops and pretty dresses. We love summer jackets that have prints, embroidery and cool details on them. They make an outfit come alive and don’t shy away from the fun wardrobe that summer is known for.

Post image for Desert Garden Inspiration From Palm Springs, CA

As soon as we pulled up to our house in Palm Springs last week, one thing that immediately struck me was how beautiful the plant life was – and how different it was to what I’m used to on the East Coast. I’ve always had a thing for desert plants — and I have lots of little potted succulents scattered all around my home — but to see them actually growing from the ground was so cool. There were so many different kinds of cacti… all different shapes and colors; some with flowers, some without. It was all too gorgeous not to share with you all. Read more »

Hi there! This post could not be written any better! Reading through this post reminds me of my previous roommate! He always kept preaching about this. I'll forward this information to him. Fairly certain he will have a great read. I appreciate you for sharing!

The keys to successful desert landscaping are knowledge and planning. In order to have a lively, functional garden that also has low water and maintenance requirements, you will need to make educated plant and hardscape choices. If you are also looking for a landscaping design ideas, I recommend http://www.coloradogreenlandscaping.com.

Post image for The Beauty Of Star Gazing

“Magic exists. Who can doubt it, when there are rainbows and wildflowers, the music of the wind and the silence of the stars? Anyone who has loved has been touched by magic. It is such a simple and such an extraordinary part of the lives we live.”

~ Nora Roberts

I believe in magic, every time I look at the stars in the sky long enough the feeling of magic runs through me. The longer you stare the more they appear, captivating you more and more second by second. Read more »

loved this post. there are very few things i love more than staring a star-filled sky. it's so incredibly beautiful and makes you realize how small we are in comparison to the universe. i only had to take one science credit in college, so naturally i chose astronomy. one of the best classes i ever had. my cabin in the mountains was the place i first star-gazed, then i went to lake powell in utah..... no towns for miles and miles and miles, just a giant lake surrounded by gorgeous red and orange rock formations and at night, with no moon, pitch black. you could see the milky way like a gray line across the sky. i slept underneath the stars every night because i just wanted to stare at the sky as i fell asleep. unbelievable. haven't seen more shooting stars in my life. i won't ever forget that sight. i've only ever made out the big and little dipper and orion's belt with my own memory, but i have a constellation app that's awesome! goskywatch! it tracks your location, you point it at the sky and it tells you what you're looking at! it even points out planets and other masses besides stars! it's an awesome app to have if you're going on a trip where you know you'll see a ton of stars!

well when i was 15 years old, every night i look up in the sky and got many pictures made by stars. Always tried to find that spoon which is called pole star.
