Last week, FP Jana and I ventured out to Terrain at Styers for a terrarium-making workshop. Office style this week was all about denim. It seemed to be quite the popular choice for everyone. On some days, I want nothing more than to throw on a pair of worn-in jeans with a sweater. You can stay comfortable, but still have that effortless, cool look. Whether it was a shirtdress, relaxed cut-offs, an over shirt, boyfriend jeans or overalls, denim was popping up everywhere. I always find this time of year is the perfect time to start growing your own herbs to season your delicious summer meals. I always love having rosemary in my home. The smell is so refreshing and isn’t too strong — the same with thyme. Place a little seed box on your windowsill, plant some seeds and let them grow… it’s economical, entertaining and a great way to spice up your meals. Read more »

Ana Kras is a furniture designer and photographer from Belgrade, Serbia. She uses simple techniques and materials to construct pieces like her “bonbons” which are a family of handmade, one-of-a-kind lanterns. Her photography has a rawness to it that is intriguing – they make you look closer, and think about what the subject is.
