Maddie - if you use the teapot, just set the flame very low. It's best to simmer slowly rather than to heat quickly. You'll get more flavor that way. :)

Post image for Simple Lemon Honey Salad Dressing

I always seem to be drawn to complexity — I love constructing outfits with layers on layers; filling my home with curated clutter; and that weird feeling that surrounds my head when trying to pick apart the universe, life, and what happens before and after — but in a world filled with so much of everything… oftentimes simplicity is what we crave. I will have to try this ...

I make this salad dressing all the time- it goes well with everything! I love using it on a shaved brussels sprouts salad with dried cranberries, feta, and slivered almond. The mix of textures and flavors is divine.

Post image for Sheer Romance: 5 Vintage Favorites

Sheer Romance is the name of our newest Vintage Loves collection, and it’s all about straps, lace, and sheer fabrics coming together to create a beautifully romantic look. Our vintage buyer, Ali, is incredibly well-versed when it comes to the world of all things vintage, and I always love to hear her take on the collections she so skillfully curates. I asked Ali to share with us a little bit about Sheer Romance, and to pick

Post image for The Key To Going All Natural

A year or two ago, if you were to look at my beauty cabinet, you’d have probably been dumbfounded by the overwhelming amount of chemical-filled products in there. Lotions and cleansers and self tanners and hair serums and deep conditioners and astringents… I could go on forever. You see, I’ve always been a lover of beauty products — I still am — but I haven’t always been such a huge advocate for natural beauty. Read more »

This is really interesting, I'm thinking of going natural, I've started with a few products already and I'm really loving it :D If your unsure on making your own you should try products from Lush or some of the sellers on etsy who make and sell all natural products. All the products from Lush are tailored for specific things and they smell great. The gorilla perfumes are great too! they can be a little pricey but can be worth it :)

Amanda, I was also on a quest to find a natural deodorant and I am happy to say I found it :) it's called "crystal" roll on deodorant . Aluminum , paraben and fragrance free :) you can find it at any drugstore and stores that sell deodorants. Brigette, I love your blog!!! Keep it up :)

Post image for It’s All About The Spring Print

What is it about printed fabric that just makes a piece of clothing feel so good to wear? In the past I’ve always seemed to gravitate toward solids, yet lately when I find myself in a ditsy floral mini, I somehow feel more incredible than ever — it’s like the print brings the whole look to an entirely new level.
