For this week’s office style we captured looks that were sophisticated yet quirky, feminine yet unique, and cool but yet different. There was a mixture of style and it inspired us to maybe try different looks sometimes, push the boundaries a little and where something that shows a different you.
Office Style this week was full of that tomboy-cool vibe that we love so much. Relaxed loose tee’s, sailor stripes, cool shirts, and baggy pants that all came together to show how we love to borrow from the boys.
We love prints all year ’round, but this week we were in love with cozy prints in lovely lilac tones worn with leather jackets, ankle boots, casual pants, and pretty dresses. Oh… and not forgetting printed accessories to add a pattern to an outfit.

Last Friday here at our home office, we held our first Free People Blogger Retreat, and invited local bloggers to come and learn the tricks and tips of creating and managing a successful blog. We met many inspiring individuals, all eager to learn how to improve their own blogs, and all interested in knowing the dynamics behind our blog, BLDG 25.
Maybe it has something to do with a new year starting, a time when you feel invigorated to start anew. A time when you want to mix it up a little and bring newness to your look and attitude. This week for Office Style I was for sure getting that vibe. Kooky little details stood out, like sequin baseball caps with smiley faces on, vibrant layered outfits, shirting that had unique pleating, and a hand-painted leather jacket that was a tribute to a cat that had recently passed away.

With the week being very quiet due to the Christmas holidays, I decided to pinpoint ladies whose style I really admire. Each and every day I see them they bring a smile to my face. These ladies dress from within, the outfits they wear constantly tell a story about who they are, what passions they have and what they are about… deep from within! We all love to dress in our favorite comfortable clothes. There’s nothing nicer than wearing that perfect loose dress, that oversized cardigan, or those baggy boyfriend jeans that you don’t want to take off for days.
Red always reminds me of the holiday season, it makes my heart warm every time I see this color around this time of year. Red berries, red bows, the traditional Santa Claus costume, red wine… the list goes on. This week for office style I was surprised to see a lot of girls wearing this merry color; from nail polish and red plaid, knitted cardigans, and little speckles to liven up a black and white dress followed by layered jewelry in bracelets and rings.
