Nature allows me to soak in the present moment. It can act as a much needed reminder in a busy day. Thank you for posts like this! The Power of Now book club sparked me to read that book at an opportune time. This new selection sounds great. The photographs with quotes are beautiful.

I actually have this book on the way to me as of right now! I saw where you had posted about it last week, and that's when I ordered it. :) I Love Home and feeling Connected. Your images are Beautiful as always Brigette. My Favorite thing to do is sit in total Silence, look around our home and out the window if I'm inside. I'm filled with Peacefulness and Gratitude. Thank You for recommending this book, I know how much more it will add to my Life. Peace, Love and Happiness to You Brigette!

The chair pose is very challenging for both your arms and lower body but it also has several health benefits, strengthening the diaphragm and heart. For those starting out, try doing it while you’re against a wall, it will help you have better balance and focus on your posture more.

I made this for breakfast and am in love. It is deeeeelicious, nutritious and is super easy to make! I used freshly harvested beets and tossed a handful of beet greens into the mix instead of kale - beet greens have a similar taste to kale and are packed with Vitamin K and Fiber - totally recommended. I also used unsweetened Good Karma's Unsweetened Flax Milk + Protein instead of almond milk. This creamy, plant-based milk alternative provides a healthy dose of Omega 3's and is low in calories. Try it out! Thanks for sharing this awesome recipe, lady :)

I wrote a similar blog post on my website- I believe that human connections are everything because the connections are what keeps our souls growing and aching for knowledge. I'm amazed by people's stories and what they can teach me everyday. If I'm ever stuck, sad, or distracted by unimportant matters- I think about the people I've met that have left an impact in my life, and they encourage me to do better even without having to consult them! I'm very happy to see a blog post about this on here. XO.
