I just got back from Wanderlust Whistler. While I understand why this festival is appealing to some people, I can't say I'm one of them. To me, the festival seems a lot less about yoga than it is a massive commercial enterprise and cult of yoga celebrity.

I wish I could have gone to Wanderlust! I'll get over it, however, since I just heard the news of Free People's new yoga collection! Can't wait! Sue

Post image for Album of the Week: Beachwood Sparks “The Tarnished Gold”

Beachwood Sparks is one of those bands that seems like they belong in the sixties – sweet, swirling psychedelic rock with a country twinge that should be listened to on a sunny day spent barefoot in the park. Read more »

I am absolutely fond of this album. I actually just traveled back from Grand Targhee Music festival, and I am appauled that you did not feature it on your blog. Please consider looking world wide for these music outbursts, including Wyoming. This festival is full of bluegrass music, and great fashion senses- Personalities. Thanks!

Post image for Obsessions: From Our Videographer

Our videographer’s vision is unique — I think it kind of has to be if you have a flare for capturing poetry on film. She can translate thoughts and stories into an enjoyable 3-minute video and can inspire you with her interest after just a small chat.

Here she shares with us her obsessions.

Post image for Blogger Diary: Treasure Hunting

This past weekend was the first time in a while that I was able to say, “What should I do today?” I moved to Philly from New York two months ago for this lovely job here at Free People, and since then, all of my weekends have been focused on getting settled: apartment hunting, moving, shopping, setting up; all the while traveling back and forth from New York to Philly. It’s been an overwhelmingly awesome whirlwind of a time, but I was so happy to have my first free weekend here in Philly. Read more »

Buddha was a wise person. Which is why I have been wearing a ring with a Buddha's face on it everyday for over a year straight. I've always had the little ring but never wore it until I moved into new adventures.
