I had the most peaceful sleep last night. I felt rested and relaxed and woke well before my alarm clock. My body was aching in places I never knew could ache and I did not wake with a headache this time. I was however feeling a little groggy from lack of caffeine, it’s the 3rd day with no coffee and I’m starting to crave it. I have always loved experimenting with natural dyes. The colors found in nature, in flowers, plants, and vegetables are so much more vibrant and beautiful than artificial colors, and it’s extremely rewarding when you are able to capture that color on a piece of fabric and wear it. Read more »
My alarm clock rang at 6:30am. I woke, my body ached, and I was for sure dehydrated. The 2.5 – 3 liters of water was clearly not enough. Although my muscles hurt slightly and I had a head ache from lack of water, I felted enlightened. I was ready to head back to Bikram class after work and try harder. I nibbled on some peanut butter and jelly toast, packed my yoga kit, and headed into work.
Ever since I saw our Golden Age Top in our January catalog, I have become completely smitten with it’s a-line angel like swing shape and crochet lace detail. It seems like the perfect top I could wear casually with jeans, with denim cut offs when it starts to get a little warmer, and on the beach with my bikini bottoms as a cute little cover-up. It’s an all-around easy top with prettiness.

With flowers on our mind this month, we can’t stop thinking about different ways in which they intrigue us. Edible flowers have graced dishes for centuries, it isn’t a new thing or a new fad, but right now we just happen to be hooked on some of the beautiful dishes we are seeing.
