Post image for DIY Patchwork Denim Throw Rug

This DIY is something I’ve actually been wanting to do for a while. Inspired by our fall store displays, I found a renewed desire to make a patchwork denim throw rug.  This is a great way to use old clothing and fabric scraps and turn them into something to add to your home décor! Read more »

That looks lovely. What hand stitch did you use? Also, for the non-denim scraps, did you fold over all of the edges or leave them out? Thanks :)

Post image for DIY 2-Ingredient Air Freshener

Who doesn’t love a fresh-smelling home? I sure do. I love using air fresheners, but the problem I’ve found with a lot of them is that they just mask the smell instead of actually eliminating it. Not this one! Not only does this air freshener neutralize bad smells, you also get to pick your own scent, and it looks adorable! Read more »

Hey there! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog. Is it hard to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I'm thinking about creating my own but I'm not sure where to begin. Do you have any points or suggestions? Cheers
nisha -Jun 16, 2014, 1:28AM
Hey.. this is a lovely idea!! I'm definitely gonna make this for my refrigerator and bathrooms!! couple of questions : -Can i directly use an old salt/pepper shaker or would it be too small?? - is thr a reason for filling the baking soda to about 1/4 the jar?? - how often do I need to change the concoction.. :) thanks again!! :-)

Though I am not impressed by the video, I am replaying the song itself obsessively. Thank you for introducing it to me.

I love Grimes, but i have a suggestion for FP, PLEASE make a skirt like the one she is wearing at 1:36. I know there was the denim floral maxi that I wish now I could find to buy, but I LOVE this cute little jean/floral fabric mix skirt!!!! I cant find one anywhere, and I plan on a DIY one, but I really think FP could make some super cute ones of course!!! <3

Post image for 4 Easy Homemade Juice Recipes (No Juicer Required!)

During summer I always love to have a big bowl of fruits and vegetables in my kitchen. When the weather is hot, there is nothing better than fresh salads or berries. The problem is, they don’t tend to keep for very long and I often find myself having to get rid of fruit or vegetables that have gone bad, and there’s nothing worse than letting all that delicious food go to waste! They cannot be large or they would bind and stall from contact with the wood. Searching gradually and attentively is all you need. Modern saw technology offers potential owners two distinctly different paths when it comes to what type of technology they want their saw to operate with.

Men usually use aftershave creams or lotions following a good shave. They guarantee an instant cut to the hair and never give chance of any pulling or tugging. Again, always shave against the grain to have a closer shave.

This morning I came across something so adorable and inspiring, it had to be shared. It also involves reading, and the bookworm in me got really excited. Little Free Library is a free book exchange carried on through hundreds of cute, tiny libraries nationwide. I love the idea of book exchange. While Kindles and other tablet devices are making reading convenient (and green!), I still love the romance of used books, particularly when they are shared. You can learn more about where to find one of these charming exchanges near you, or even better how to start your own, by visiting the Little Free Library website. (BoingBoing)
