Post image for Brits vs USA: NYE Outifts!

New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and to celebrate entering a new year everyone needs a special dress. I asked two British girls and two American girls if they could choose any Free People dress to wear to a New Year’s Eve party, what would it be? I did this mainly to be nosy but also to see if there was a distinctive style difference between the British and the Americans.

Post image for Exhibit We Love: The Rainroom By Random International

Can you imagine walking through a room that is dramatically lit and there’s rain falling from the ceiling? You would expect to get soaking wet, right?

Think again… right now at The Barbican, London there’s an art installation by Random International at The Curve Gallery in which you control the elements. A 100 square foot field of falling water is before you and as you step into it you’d expect to get wet but, surprisingly you don’t. As you walk the water moves away from the area you’re in, but it still pours around you. Read more »
