Post image for Inspiration: A Look Inside My Wedding Folder

These last couple of weeks I’ve been trying to plan a little wedding party for my sister who is getting married in December. Being the Maid of Honor I have to have a helping in hand in her planning, so there has been a lot of tear gathering and folder making over the past few months. Read more »

Hi Krista, I'm not 100% sure, when I wear my jeans a few times they do tend to give a little as the denim becomes looser and more worn.
Krista -Aug 27, 2012, 11:55AM
I bought the burnt denim a size smaller than I normally do for a tighter fit. I bought a 28 when I usually wear a 29, and I took the measurements and it's a full inch smaller than the size the 28 offers on the website. Do they have a little room to give?

Post image for Would You Decorate With Lingerie?

I can cheap lingerie some good lingerie to do this? i hope its quote better
Camille -Nov 19, 2012, 9:35AM
It's not quite decorating but I can see what you were going for. Some of the shots are more appropriate for set design than decoration, creating a realistic lived-in environment. At a push you could make some doilies with lingerie but I don't think you could get much more out of them.

Post image for Artwork We Love: Prints By Teagan White

I first heard about artist Teagan White a while back when one of my coworkers had the print below hanging at her desk. I was just recently checking out her page on Society6 and was so inspired by her beautiful work. I love the incorporation of nature in all aspects of her work and the washed out colors she uses. A lot of her work has a great autumnal feel, which is maybe why I am so drawn to it right now! Read more »

Post image for Saturday Do: Send A Love Note

Whenever I receive a little cute note from someone, my heart glows; it leaves traces of someone’s thoughts that then get soaked into your soul. I treasure all the little notes people give me, whether it’s something simple like “I came by your desk but you weren’t there”, or something more intense that came from your lover. Read more »

Post image for Aloe Plant Uses and Benefits

Update: This post originally ran on June 21 2012, but we wanted to share it again as summer winds down, and also because aloe is something you can use in your beauty routine all year round!

Aloe plants have a number of uses and benefits, and aloe is definitely something I like having around the house, especially in the summer time months. Read more »

To use the clear gel in the center...what is the easiest way to cut the stalk open to get the most use out of it ( length or width wise) and what do you do if you don't use it all at once? Can you store the leftover gel in frig for a short time or must you use the whole piece that you cut at the time of cutting the plant? And from most of the post...Is it an understanding that the plant can live just fine indoors in little ligthing and outside in morning & afternoon full sun?

I too have a brown thumb but have been able to grow aloe. I have always known it was good for burns but recently had multiple mosquito bites and thought to dry aloe on them. The itching was relieved quickly.

Just thinking outside the box, the hangers for the pants are a lot like shower curtain hooks which are cheap and hang items nicely!
