Post image for Homemade Mud Mask

The trend we’re featuring online this week is called “By the Light of the Moon,” and it’s a romantic and ethereal trend story centered around dreamy fabrics, ruffles, and lace, with ornate collar necklaces giving a hard element to offset the softness.Read More

tip: Make sure to test on a small part of your face or on your arm. I did this mask but added mashed bananas and olive oil, and i didn't think i was allergic to any of these things and i put it all over my face. A couple minutes later my whole face was stinging and red and i was having a reaction. So, definitely test it first!

Post image for Blogger Diary: Life Happens Fast

I remember turning to my mom one day, back when I was a teenager, and saying, “It seems like this year went by so quickly!” She looked at me with that all-knowing smile and said, “It only gets faster every year.” She couldn’t have been more right. It’s a confusing thing to think about, time. What is time? Does it really even exist? Time is so relative; so subjective. Read More

I love how you put that smiley face in there. :) Every year disappears quicker than the one before it, though the days within seem to drag on. Loving reading the Blogger Diary posts, thanks!

Post image for 3 Homemade Remedies For Split Ends

This week we’re sharing some of the blog’s greatest hits! These are some of our most loved posts by you, our amazing readers.Read More

Denise -Dec 21, 2015, 7:54AM
A few of these are completely not true. There is a method to not have split ends. (It's not easy with dry hair of course but if your hair's normal or gets oily easily...) Every two years or so I donate a foot or more of my hair and almost every time I get asked how in the world do I have such healthy hair for it being so long. I hardly ever have split ends. It's not that difficult. I don't curl my hair, I rarely blow dry. I also only wash it like two times a week (like you're actually supposed to! You might not fee). Just take care of it. Don't use so many products every day. If you really don't have to, just don't it. There's plenty of cute hairstyles without the use of any products. The amount of stuff people put on their hair is ridiculous. -Dec 07, 2015, 3:22PM
Looks natural home remedy for split ends, thanks will try.

Post image for DIY Beach Glass Photo Transfer

My Aunt and Uncle have been collecting beach glass for years. When I was recently at their house for a visit, I was fascinated by how many pieces they have acquired over time. I picked up a few and started looking at them. I thought to myself, “There has to be something cool that you can do with all of this glass.” I remembered Julia’s wood photo transfer post, and that gave me the idea to try a photo transfer on a different type of medium-beach glass! I snagged a couple of white pieces from my Aunt and Uncle (with their permission) and tried out the photo transfer technique.Read More

I tried it. It works! How to make it waterproof? I soaked it into water and after some minutes the image fell off from the glass. Can anyone suggest how can I make it waterproof? Thank you!
Angela Downer -Mar 16, 2015, 1:15PM
This is super cute, and it isn't even that hard. My favorite use of it that you showed is for yard decorations. I think I might make some and then hang the glass in my yard, as sort of a makeshift wind chimes.
