What a great idea! I usually pair rosemary and vanilla with lemon for a fresh smelling scent, but I never thought to use the rind as a container. Clever!

I have to say that this quote really resonates with me, especially in light of some recent life events. My fiancé and I recently moved. The move went well, but we ended up having a bit of a disagreement with the neighbors where they accused us of doing something something that we didn't. This really, really bothered me and although things are better, it has made it a lot tougher to develop a relationship with our neighbors. Luckily my fiancé really took the initiative to help move us past this event.

This is such a great saying to focus on for the week ahead. I agree that "There’s no need to waste energy and feelings on problems that are already behind you. If it’s fixed, let it be fixed." I think this also applies to things that you have no control over. DW |

it seems very obvious to iron with a flat iron but I'd never thought about it, it's brilliant!

Coconut oil is my #1 go to; It's my body moisturizer, my facial moisturizer, my makeup remover (seriously! it works wonders!).... I don't even wear any foundation or powder makeup anymore, and I get compliments on my skin all the time. It's nature's miracle! <3 dani

Thank you for this beautiful post and to the people who wrote their own experiences in the comments. It brought tears in my eyes...I experienced two losses that usually aren't considered as real ones... I had two abortions and it really was like a loss to me, both times. It took me years to get over them. I think I know what it feels like to lose someone you love, in my case someone that I knew without really physically knowing. <3

I recently lost my husband of 36 years. I took care of him at home for the past 3 years. Your post is so right on. It is gut wrenching and a very lonely time. Grief IS experienced differently by everyone

Post image for 3 Ingredient Natural Hair Detangler

I have very long hair, and I suffer from tangled locks a lot more than not. But no matter what length your hair is, chances are you often encounter annoying tangles. Taking a brush to them sometimes won’t even do the trick, so that’s when you bring in a reinforcement– hair detangler. Read more »

Natella -Sep 01, 2014, 10:26AM
Great useful info and tips in the comments too! Since I bought Mason Pearson brush, I almost forgot about the tangles, but your recipe is still great and will be useful as an after wind remedy. We have crazy winds out here and if leave home without tying it in the knot or something, I come back with a nest on top of my head :)
Erica HARVEY -Aug 26, 2014, 1:52PM
I have long hair and I shed all over until I tried the baking soda, spoo vinegar rinse, my hair is clean and tangles a lot less but this sounds great as in between shampoos I am a frizzy tangled wild haired banshee. Will go great with my other homemade spoo and rinse, just an idea I use green or herbal tea in place of water for
