We’ve all imagined our dream home. Maybe yours is a bright, spacious home with overgrown gardens and little stone pathways. Maybe it’s a cozy wooden cabin nestled deep in the woods, with not a soul in sight but the animals that run free through the trees. My vision of a dream home is always evolving, but no matter what my mind constructs, there’s one element that always remains the same: the relaxation room. Read More

Blogger Diary: Life Happens Fast
I remember turning to my mom one day, back when I was a teenager, and saying, “It seems like this year went by so quickly!” She looked at me with that all-knowing smile and said, “It only gets faster every year.” She couldn’t have been more right. It’s a confusing thing to think about, time. What is time? Does it really even exist? Time is so relative; so subjective. Read More
Blogger Diary: 4th Of July Weekend
In the summertime when the heat sizzles on the city streets, I escape to the water. I feel so lucky to have a home away from home at the beach. It has always been my go-to place on summer weekends, or any time I’m feeling stressed, emotional, or too wrapped up in the minute details of day to day life. It’s funny how when you take a step back, certain things become clear. Read More
Blogger Diary: A Glimpse Inside My Home
Last summer I wrote a blogger diary called Home is a Feeling, Not a Place. At that time, I had only been in Philly for 3 months, and didn’t yet feel settled. My mind was all over the place, and I was really craving that feeling of “home” to comfort me. It’s now a year later, and I can truly say that Philly feels like home. Read More

Blogger Diary: A Fresh Start
Spring always seems to be a time of new beginnings. The change of weather fosters the growth of new plant and animal life – and that’s not all. I always seem to go through the most drastic changes in my life during the springtime, too. Read More

Blogger Diary: Holiday Warmth
The holidays have come and gone and now I’m filled with they warm feelings of comfort they left behind, as well as excitement for the brand new year ahead. Blogger Diary: A Beautiful Birthday Trip
My birthday was last week and to celebrate, a few of my favorite people and I took off for San Francisco, one of my favorite places on Earth. It was one of those magical trips where every moment is a highlight…we walked the city hills, picked up some books at City Lights, dug through used albums at Amoeba on Haight and caught Tame Impala at The Fillmore before making our way across the Golden Gate for the second part of our journey. We stopped at Muir Woods, where the redwood trees completely took my breath away with their majestic beauty and sheer size, and then it was up to Calistoga, a small town on the northern end of Napa county. We spent a day exploring vineyards and tasting wine at some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been before sadly packing up and making our way back to Philadelphia. I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing trip…check out my photo diary below! Read More
