@Meg - You shouldn't feel bad for those who have chosen a restrictive diet! Choosing to eat vegan, sugar-free, vegetarian, or the like is a personal decision and requires no apologies. Telling a vegan you feel bad for them isn't the best conversation starter, either :)

Laurel, yes I agree, there are definitely situations where people will notice. I guess I meant more at an event like a wedding, if a plate of food is in front of you and you just kinda push it around or get up to get a cocktail (or two), if people are preoccupied enough, they likely won't notice or if they do ask, I generally say something like "I wasn't sure if I wasn't going to be able to eat or not, so I ate a large meal before I came to prepare." That usually squashes it. But obviously every situation and every person is different. I love the idea of packing your own meal and having them plate it for you. I have never done that myself, but that seems like a great way to make sure you can eat. Thanks for your thoughts and tips.

Yes, I have used shawls and tablecloths and combined them together with ring clips - it looks very laid back and so cool! I love combining different fabrics/prints...
There’s something so pretty about delicate white lace. No matter what else you have on, a touch of this material can make your outfit sweet and soft. I like the mix of pairing it with an edgier piece, just like our intimates buyer did with a camo jacket in the picture above. I especially love wearing lace during summer months. Ivory lace is my favorite thing to wear...I search for it in every thrift, vintage, antique, or retailer I walk into. LOVE the top Jana is wearing, so beautiful. I just bought the FP one softly woven jacket about a week ago, it was worth every penny. :)) Much love!

Made my own with a shimmery bronzer for festivals and when I'm feeling fun :) LOVED the results! So much more natural looking than self tanner.

Sending snail mail is so much fun, I miss the days when you send letters to your friends and you purchase a stamp and wait days for them to receive it. From now on I want to make an effort to make cute little cards, letters and envelopes to send to my friends and family because it does really make a difference. The other day I sent a birthday card and personalized the envelope and it turned out pretty sweet, so I thought I would share with you guys how to create your own personalized envelope lining
