The boots are super cute and I've been wanting to get my hands on some birkenstocks for a while now. I hope to grab a few rays of sunshine this weekend before school starts and fall sets in.

I love quinoa. I usually eat mine with cherry tomatoes and avocado sliced in it. I need to drink a lot more water. The warm lemon water sounds like it would be quite good http://kinzielamar.blogspot.com/

Post image for Harvesting Creativity & Overcoming Setbacks

Creativity can be anything from an art piece, to a written work, to a new business idea. What ties the concept together, in all cases, is that it is an outward translation of something within ourselves. We have thoughts and images running through our heads as well as feelings and emotions reverberating through our bodies. Creativity happens when we connect and utilize our talents to communicate what’s inside, breathing it into existence. Of course, that can be easier said than done. Read more »

This is such a well written post with so many wonderful, realistic approaches. I love to write and blog but sometimes I run out of creative juices or feel a little insecure about it all. I love the idea of simply keeping a journal. Getting back to the good old pen and paper!!! We usually find inspiration where we least expect it! Thank you, Audrey

This post couldn't have come at a more perfect time. And I have to agree that going on a walk is always the best first step for me!

Post image for Boho Wedding Inspiration

It’s been a little while since we’ve featured a wedding here on the blog.  But the other day, I got an email from MacK Mars, who works part time as a stylist for Free People.  The photos from her wedding day stopped me dead in my tracks – read on to hear her describe it in her own words, and to get a serious dose of wedding inspiration! Does anyone know if your supposed to use this before/after you shampoo and condition your hair? I would assume after washing out your conditioner..? Or before and then shampoo/condition after? So confused! Lol
Rachel -Sep 08, 2014, 8:37PM
Man... this is one handy dandy blog! I followed a post over from Andrea's Notebook (8 Homemade Hair Products You Should Be Making) that featured your snazzy dry shampoo recipe... and now this! I've LOVED good Argan Oil Shampoos and Conditioners for a few years now. My brand of choice is the rather astounding Acure Moroccan Argan Stem Cell + Argan Oil line. It's not super pricey once you get discount codes for the Acure site, but I am seriously broke... so sometimes I'm stuck with crummy shampoo. And I've got a big honkin bottle of Argan OIl sitting in my bathroom I wasn't sure what on earth to do with. lol Going to mix up a batch of this, asap. Also wondering if perhaps adding some drops of the Argan OIl to the dry shampoo recipe might work, along with essential oils? Not sure... could be counter productive since you're trying to strip oils off the hair, but maybe I'll give it a whirl in tiny batch. ;)
