I love the philosophiemama! She's beautiful. warm, insightful and posts super stunning and high-quality content! The cleanse is perfect because it's liberal enough to not feel like an actual cleanse, but it's super healthy and versatile for anyone!

Post image for Six Tips: A Guide To Thrift Shopping

How you can find the best second-hand deals!Read More

Liz -Feb 07, 2016, 4:24PM
Excellent tips. I've been thrifting for years and agree with all of them. I love thrifting on road trips too! One things I'd add for newbies is don't forget to look up! In crowed shops anything can be hung from the ceiling. Though in most cases you'll find lighting baskets and railroad lanterns. Happy thrifting!
Hanna -Jan 29, 2016, 8:47AM
I absolutely agree about thrifting on the road. I used to live in a big city, and thrifting there was okay. Then I moved to the midwest. I have literally found antiques at Good Will! Sometimes it seems like attics are cleaned out after someone passes away, or for the first time in a century. And there are not as many people here to buy the merchandise, so prices are lower, too. (Just because I like to brag: I bought a vintage fur coat straight out of the 1920s for $30! And it's the warmest coat I've ever owned.) If you ever find yourself mind-numbingly road tripping through cornfields, then wheat fields, then more corn fields, take a thrift store stop along the way! It will be worth it.

First off, ughhh...PUUUUULEASE!! My dad is from Yelapa and this beautiful village has had a chill vibe looooong before the 60s. Please give credit to the people who actually live there for creating this heaven on earth. Their (Bob Dylan, Jack Nicholson and Dennis Hopper) presence DID NOT inspire the village vibe you speak of. Rather, it was THEM who were inspired by the preexisting, up-beat vibe of the village! Secondly, Quimixto is breathtaking! Please visit when you go, it'll change your life!

I've also read that redness-reducing eye drops aren't good for daily use, but I don't think artificial tears are bad to use daily. I have dry eyes, use them daily, and I've never had my eye doctor warn me against using them so often. Someone let me know if you've heard different! :)
Maria -Jan 30, 2016, 5:37PM
Glad someone else already commented on this. Using eye drops every day is terrible for your eyes. Worst advice ever.
