So amazing! I'm Brazilian and now I'm alone in coffee in Patagônia. Waiting for the sunset and thinking about how incredible would be to have a Sister here with me, and Share all this beauty (and cold). Your text encourage my next trip with that Sister (of blood or heart). Tears of happines and enchantment from Punta Arenas.

My little sister and I have been talking about taking a trip together for the past year or so. Lately, she doesn't seem as keen on the idea and I've felt some resentment bubbling up for how many times she has brushed me off in the past, when our whole lives I've just really loved her. Reading this makes me think we may have a similar experience. We are going on a road trip together next weekend to surprise our mom for mother's day, but she isn't very enthusiastic about the trip. I'm looking forward to spending the weekend together, but I feel like she couldn't care less. Maybe this will give us a chance to reconnect. We spent a wonderful day together the last time I saw her in January, maybe distance is just making things feel strained.

this post is what I've needed all week!!! I am super stressed from high school, and it was inspiring to read such uplifting words! I definitely connected with the "be your own best friend" phrase. Thank you so much for delivering such an awesome message <3

This was such a great uplifting post! At the beginning of the year I got hit with not only the flu but a relationship ending and trying to find a job so I definitely hit that mental breakdown. It took time, but little by little I incorporated things in my life that I now couldn't do without. I started with eating a whole food plant based diet and really taking the time to create delicious meals, doing yoga every morning, minimizing my wardrobe, exercising regularly, etc. Next on my list is to make meditation a daily practice. www.lostindreamland8.blogspot.com

Awesome article and video! I recently started a potted garden on my patio (small space garden woo) and made a watering can out of an old detergent bottle, painted it and made it so cute! One less thing in the Earth, as well as free! <3

Love this post so much! I've been vegan for almost a year now and love it! Hopefully with my support, more of my family and friends will go vegan - I already have a few that have converted to vegetarianism and veganism. Thanks for spreading great information and proving that this lifestyle is very approachable!

…But what if we don’t know what our passion is?Read More

Denise -May 03, 2016, 6:46PM
My question is why do we have to have one passion? We are such diverse beings with so many layers of personality and depth, skills, interests, why would we not want to cultivate and enrich our lives in more than one way? I see passion as a perspective or way of life rather than a "dedication" to one sole thing. To me a passionate person would be one who lives their life to their best ability believing in what they do, why they do it, and what they are capable of, who nurtures and seeks to gain/share knowledge of or evolve with said interests. Often we can get so lost trying to define one thing and fitting it into this box of what should or shouldn't be that we loose that moment, that emotion, and the appreciation of what is in essence loosing that flow and that which we seek- Passion.
Lexy -May 02, 2016, 2:32AM
I have multiple things that I love doing and a variety of things that I'm passionate about so I really have to work on focusing on one thing at a time. The variety of interests inspire each other though and I hope make me more well-rounded.

J in the City -Apr 21, 2016, 8:19AM
I just started walking Monday evening after work. I did 3 miles (one hour) in my city. Tuesday I did another 3 miles. Even in those 2 days, I found things that I didn't know existed where I live and streets I've never driven down. For example, I love ethnic supermarkets and I found a caribbean one about a mile away, as well as many Colombian and South American Restaurants (I live in a Hispanic-area). Other than discovering new things, I also feel like I'm being proactive about taking care of myself. Good stuff.
Katherine -Apr 20, 2016, 8:39AM
Thank you!!! Just what I needed today!
