I adore this and that plastic bags are on their way out! The fabric you picked is lovely! Warm Regards, Alexandra

I love this idea! I've been debating purchasing tote bags to start using as opposed to paper or plastic, but many are really pricy. Definitely will do this instead!

I make a face wash out of fresh lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg! I put the little concoction into a container and I use in in the shower so my pours are open and to adequately rinse it off. I scrub gently to allow the cinnamon and nutmeg to exfoliate and then I let it sit on my skin for a minute or two. Afterwards, I tone with Witchhazel.I have combination skin with large pours prone to clogging and I’ve seen amazing results from this. My pours look smaller and my skin is smoother. The appearance of my skin overall, has improved dramatically! I love love LOVE lemons, I always have them in my house !
Meg -Mar 24, 2015, 8:53AM
I just had the echo the sentiment of washing the lemon completely off face and especially hands & applying sunscreen to both before stepping outside to prevent phytophotodermatitis, which is a blistering burn as mentioned above. The acid in the lemon makes the skin sensitive and if any residue is left it does create a chemical burn. The same can happen with lime. Just wash thoroughly, protect with sunscreen, and all should be well. -from a former dermatology medical assistant and current surgical tech

Brooklyn is so much more than you covered in this article! Ditmas Park is an amazing neighborhood. Known formally as Victorian Flatbush we're on the other side of Prospect Park from Park Slope and home to an amazing array of restaurants, bars and shops. My store Brooklyn ARTery is one of the attractions and we would love to introduce more people to this incredible neighborhood on Brooklyn!
Crystal -Mar 09, 2015, 3:44PM
The next time you are in BK, there are TONS of places worth exploring outside of Williamsburg / Bushwick that are really amazing!!! Red Hook has great restaurants or you can picnic right on the waterfront right after you pick up some Key Lime Pie at Steve's. Afterwards there are tons of galleries in Warehouses right on the docks. You can go visit Park Slope to get a coffee and look at the Brownstones and catch a show at the Bell House. Check out more here!

It was fun seeing FP clothes through different seasons here! Does the Marshmallow Cardigan shed? I've been looking for a fluffy piece like that but have read that some of them shed or are linty... xo,
Kyle Coleman -Mar 09, 2015, 1:50PM
I don't see any models of color in the catalog. Why? Jolene Nicol from Boston and NYC would be breathtaking in FP designs. I absolutely love FP. I have Stage IV cancer and FP makes me feel alive. I have to stay alive to enjoy this life affirming clothing. With much Free Love, Kyle M. Coleman

I have an auto immune condition as well and have recently had to cut out a lot of foods including gluten, dairy and eggs. It's tough totally readjusting the way you eat but once you see how it makes you feel better it gets easier and finding new favourites is always fun! I will have to give this a try but without the bananas (can't have those either). Thanks for sharing!
Jessica -Mar 08, 2015, 10:36PM
Breakfast is difficult for me too -- it needs to be quick, delicious, and not boring (same thing every day). I've cut out bread myself so my previous favorite of veggie + fried egg + toast is no longer an option. Thanks for sharing this recipe, it sounds healthy and tasty -- what a great idea! Something I've been loving lately is chia seeds with water or almond milk, raw cocoa nibs, goji berries, nuts and seeds. Soak for ten minutes and then go to town -- keep it stored dry in a mason jar, and its great for traveling! =)
