Jun 04, 2011i found these images via little paper planes and they blew me away! they were taken on research trips for the chicago field museum, some as early as 1896. the color was added by hand to glass slides, resulting in images that combine the effects of photography and landscape painting. so incredibly beautiful. go see (…) Read more »
