I’m always grateful for photography, I’m grateful because I’m always reminded of memories every time I see a snapshot of my life. I can spend hours running through old photographs from when I was a young child to more recent photos. They send chills down my spine, loving memories captured in one shot. Read More
There are days where we want change, there are days when things just happen perfectly and there are days when everything goes wrong.
Do you ever get to that point in life when everything just seems a little crazy… you feel like you’re kinda losing your mind a little, but all you can do is just ride it out?
I suffer from pretty severe seasonal affective disorder, and this time of year I always feel like I’m coming out of hibernation. The extra sunlight, the scent of flowers blooming and their bright colors… all these senses send signals to my brain that it’s time to go outside and be more active. Read More
Last week was a week of rest, recovering from surgery I was locked up indoors doing little. It was quite strange for me, just laying there playing games with my thoughts. Read More
This weekend I was home alone, but it was kind of nice. I indulged in everything a girl loves indulging in; I was at one with my thoughts and drifted through the weekend like a light cloud. Read More

On Thursday the 24th I started my day at the C’N’C show. I couldn’t stop backstage to say hi and congrats to my friend Umbe, who is a women’s designer, because I had to run to Iceberg.
At Iceberg, Paolo Gerani brought to the catwalk double breasted coats and blazers, leather pants, furs and a touch of electric blue.
At 4:30 pm it was time for Blumarine, which surprised everyone with silver accessories combined with metallic, iridescent, and hologram pieces. The soundtrack by Azealia Banks and Mia gave the show an extra edge.
Next I attended a cocktail exhibition at the Mauro Grifoni store in Via Della Spiga: “Bizarre, Colorquake, Flamboyant, Personalities, Allure”, a special preview of Diana Vreeland curated by Maria Luisa Frisa and Judith Clark.
Right after, we went to Corso Como 10 for the i-D and Alberto Guardiani Party, hosted by Marcelo Burlon. At one point, you simply have to eat, and that is exactly what we did… a relaxed dinner with friends: perfect conclusion to my day.
Friday the 25th began with Mila Schon at 11.30. My true compliments to Biancamaria Gervasio, the young designer behind the brand. I fell in love with every single piece of the collection.
Afterwards I had a quick lunch break with Grazia Team at Cafe Verger (I love this place http://verger.it/ )
After lunch was the Jil Sander show – Raf Simon’s last show with the brand was just perfect. Simply, classy and elegant; I would love to have all the coats.
Ter Et Bantine was the last of the day, at least for me. Casual and concise are the keywords for this refined brand who chose eccentric hats to personalize the silhouette.
I ended the day with dinner and a movie at home!
We’re shooting at a temple in Hue today… and it’s pouring rain! Martha and Michele were fully prepared:) Another flight tonight, back to Hanoi!
Last night we spent the evening on a junk boat in Halong Bay, a land of floating villages and magic landscapes – one of the most indescrible experiences we’ve ever shared. Can’t wait to share photos with all of you. Another 5 hour drive ahead, and then we’re off on an 8 hour night train to Sa Pa. See you soon!
We arrived late last night in a fog of a quietly empty Hanoi.
This morning we saw the chaos of the city alive, scooters racing like bugs below and excitement filled the crew.
And we’re off! The FP team met with our local producer Thoa, at 6am this morning to start our adventure to Halong Bay.
Our catalog team is always busy – when they’re not traveling around the world shooting the books you see each month, they’re planning the next ones, months in advance. They are departing soon to shoot our March book and we’ll be posting their journal entries for you here on the blog! Stay tuned…
In two days we’re off on another FP adventure- this month’s journey takes us all the way across the world to photograph breathtaking Vietnam, top to toe- a land of dramatic landscapes, coastlines, colors. We’ve got 32 hours of travel in store- a flight from JFK –> Seoul, Korea, Seoul –> Hanoi, Vietnam. We’re so excited to have the opportunity to share this experience with you – we’ll check in over the next two weeks and keep you abreast of all of our discoveries.
