Without further ado, we bring you a NEW CHANGING ROOM VIDEO!
This morning when I stepped out into the AM light, I was met with something unexpected, yet entirely welcome: Crisp air. Read More
We are endlessly inspired by our models’ off duty style – so much so that we often feature it here on the blog. It’s no surprise these girls have great style, but it’s the way they carry themselves and let their individual personalities dictate their look that makes their style so intriguing. Read More
There’s a new type of layering that we’re extremely excited about this year: sheer layering. Read More
It’s cooling down slightly here in Philadelphia, but not to the point of busting out heavy coats just yet. Light layering is perfect for this limbo period of in-between weather. I love putting on a sweater over a summer dress, or throwing on a light jacket to add in a layer and complete the look. Our girls were doing just that this week. Take a look at how these ladies styled light layers! Read More
In 2006 our Senior Designer — now our Creative Director — Doub was crazy about studs and started to decorate knits with them. Read More
We are huge layering fans here at Free People, and it’s rare that I go a day without having some sort of layered component in what I’m wearing. A while back we posted about how to create the ultimate layered outfit, and got some requests for more, so today I wanted to create a slightly simpler outfit in terms of layers — but one with mixed prints. Our lookbook The Road Less Traveled is full of layered eclectic looks. Layers upon layers of fabrics and textures, clashing prints, and accessories fill the pages. The foundation of every outfit are the intimates – the items that don’t always show, but can go such a long way in making you feel comfortable and confident in your skin. We are so excited about the launch of our intimates e-book and all new line, and I asked our intimates fashion manager to tell us about her inspiration, key pieces and what’s coming up for Intimately Free People! It was so fun photographing our Assistant Stylist for this week’s Style File. Her carefree spirit just communicates through photographs so well. Living up to her aura, she has some of the best boho pieces around. Getting up close, you notice all of details she piles on, and sneaks in there. There’s no such thing as less is more with her, but she makes it work. She’s a true modern day hippie – loaded with fringe, feathers, and bangles. There’s something about this girl that makes you feel peaceful and smiley.
