This past week, Philadelphia weather has treated us right! Temperatures have been warming up a lot — yesterday it reached 85 degrees! Everyone seemed to be in such a good mood since the sun was shining and we could actually walk outside without even thinking about putting a coat on. Our girls donned light and airy pieces, which we will definitely be seeing more of as we continue into the summer months. I found some FP girls taking their dogs for a stroll outside and couldn’t help but getting them in on the office style action.
This week’s Office Style was a fun mixture of bright color pops and tomboy touches. Whether it was an oversized plaid tunic worn with cute ankle boots, pretty dresses with neon embroidery, baggy black harem pants worn with bold colors, or a prairie dress with black ankle boots. This week’s office style was fun, vibrant, and cool. Take a look!
For this week’s office style, we captured looks that were relaxed and bohemian. From distressed jeans with a pop of color to maxi skirts and printed tunics, our ladies seemed to be looking very “Meadow”. These outfits were perfect for staying comfortable and warm during our cold and rainy weather this week in Philly.
For office style this week, we picked out outfits here at our home office that had pops of color to go along with our March catalog. Black velvet comes to life with colored tie dye and sky blue hair, a basic jean look was made cool with a great patterned jacket, colorful knits made black and white look more fun, and a cute corset dress was made more edgy with ripped tights. It was a fun week for office style!
For this week’s Office Style, we captured looks that had an unusual touch. Maybe it’s because of the full moon this week, but outfits were a little bit topsy-turvy in a good way. Feminine accessories were teamed with grunge, tops were unbuttoned to become jackets, and vintage nighties made cute dresses. Take a look at this week’s Office Style. Read More
For this week’s office style we captured looks that were sophisticated yet quirky, feminine yet unique, and cool but yet different. There was a mixture of style and it inspired us to maybe try different looks sometimes, push the boundaries a little and where something that shows a different you.
Office Style this week was full of that tomboy-cool vibe that we love so much. Relaxed loose tee’s, sailor stripes, cool shirts, and baggy pants that all came together to show how we love to borrow from the boys.
Office style this week was all about patterns, the unusual prints that make you look twice. From Aztec prints on shirts, to inspired embroidery on tunics and cardigans, to Mediterranean tiled motifs on maxi skirts. As you can tell from these outfits we are pretty much done with winter and are focusing forward toward spring. Read More
We love prints all year ’round, but this week we were in love with cozy prints in lovely lilac tones worn with leather jackets, ankle boots, casual pants, and pretty dresses. Oh… and not forgetting printed accessories to add a pattern to an outfit.
Every now and again we bring together our 5 favorite looks from our office style to re-live the great style we captured. It’s pretty hard just picking 5 but here are our favorites. It has been extremely cold here in Philly this week, not great weather to want to dress up for. Thermal, jeans, sweaters, big coat, bobble hat, and boots and we’re good to go! Read More
Last Friday here at our home office, we held our first Free People Blogger Retreat, and invited local bloggers to come and learn the tricks and tips of creating and managing a successful blog. We met many inspiring individuals, all eager to learn how to improve their own blogs, and all interested in knowing the dynamics behind our blog, BLDG 25.
Maybe it has something to do with a new year starting, a time when you feel invigorated to start anew. A time when you want to mix it up a little and bring newness to your look and attitude. This week for Office Style I was for sure getting that vibe. Kooky little details stood out, like sequin baseball caps with smiley faces on, vibrant layered outfits, shirting that had unique pleating, and a hand-painted leather jacket that was a tribute to a cat that had recently passed away.
