Every now and again we bring together our 5 favorite looks from our office style to re-live the great style we captured. It’s pretty hard just picking 5 but here are our favorites. It has been extremely cold here in Philly this week, not great weather to want to dress up for. Thermal, jeans, sweaters, big coat, bobble hat, and boots and we’re good to go! Read More
Last Friday here at our home office, we held our first Free People Blogger Retreat, and invited local bloggers to come and learn the tricks and tips of creating and managing a successful blog. We met many inspiring individuals, all eager to learn how to improve their own blogs, and all interested in knowing the dynamics behind our blog, BLDG 25.
Maybe it has something to do with a new year starting, a time when you feel invigorated to start anew. A time when you want to mix it up a little and bring newness to your look and attitude. This week for Office Style I was for sure getting that vibe. Kooky little details stood out, like sequin baseball caps with smiley faces on, vibrant layered outfits, shirting that had unique pleating, and a hand-painted leather jacket that was a tribute to a cat that had recently passed away.
With the week being very quiet due to the Christmas holidays, I decided to pinpoint ladies whose style I really admire. Each and every day I see them they bring a smile to my face. These ladies dress from within, the outfits they wear constantly tell a story about who they are, what passions they have and what they are about… deep from within! They wear their personalities and it screams “this is who I am, take it or leave it” and there’s something I find so endearing about that. Read More
This week’s office style was plain and simple, whether it was simple and sophisticated black and white worn in cute little pixie ways or the ever-so-cool and casual double denim look.
We all love to dress in our favorite comfortable clothes. There’s nothing nicer than wearing that perfect loose dress, that oversized cardigan, or those baggy boyfriend jeans that you don’t want to take off for days.
Red always reminds me of the holiday season, it makes my heart warm every time I see this color around this time of year. Red berries, red bows, the traditional Santa Claus costume, red wine… the list goes on. This week for office style I was surprised to see a lot of girls wearing this merry color; from nail polish and red plaid, knitted cardigans, and little speckles to liven up a black and white dress followed by layered jewelry in bracelets and rings. It made us all feel festive and we loved it! Read More
To inspire your fashion sense this week we pulled together our favorite fall office style photos. From rustic prints, clever layering, cozy sweaters, and cool denim, our home office staff covered it all. We’ve curated a collection of outfits that inspire us from our weekly office style posts. This week is a short week here at the Free People home office to celebrate Thanksgiving, so instead of doing our weekly run we brought out some of our old snaps that we loved so much. Read More
Cool tones of grey ran through the office this week, with girls wearing the color in a number of creative ways. There was not a storm in the sky when it came to these outfits. We loved how the color created a 90’s grunge feel with an over-sized sweater and black patent Dr. Martens.
In this week’s office style, the girls were all cozy and cool welcoming the cold chill with open arms. We don’t let the weather spoil our fashion sense here at Free People! Girls layered sweaters over shirts, wore socks over their jeans with boots, bobble hats got teamed with coats for extra warmth, and a fall color story was told in three different layers. A cool tie-dyed dress accessorized with skulls even made a statement this week. Read More
