This post comes from our blog intern, Aubrie!
The trend on our site this week is called Geo Sport, and it features an awesome mix of neutral colors, geometric prints, and sporty elements. We’ve been loving the sport trend and incorporating it into our fall looks as much as possible. Read More
UPDATE: This post previously ran on May 1st but as it’s Memorial Day weekend and we know a lot of you will be looking for outfit inspiration we thought we would republish this post for you.
I remember when Isabel Marant launched her wedged sneaker and opened the door to sports becoming fashionable again. With a healthy, active lifestyle becoming more and more desirable it was inevitable that this was going to emerge as a trend. Read More
Question: “My boyfriend has terrible style…I especially hate his ugly sneakers but he thinks he looks great and I don’t want to hurt his feelings. How do I get him to start dressing more fashionably?” Read More
This week’s Style File is a true Lou. Her style is relaxed and full of tomboy inspiration – a good tee, some jeans, and sneakers being her to-go. Read More
This week’s office style is dedicated to one of my favorite FP girls: Lou. The awesome thing about Lou is that she’s rough and she’s edgy, but she never loses a touch of sexiness. The look is for a girl who’s on the run and active. She doesn’t have the time to be high maintenance, and can’t stand things that will restrict the adventure. She loves to steal items from her man – bulky tees and grungy tanks never looked better. Pants and shorts are her go-to, and there’s nothing like a good pair of boots or sneakers. Once in a while, she’ll mix it up on you and throw in that feminine touch to remind you that, after all, she is a lady.
There’s nothing like a good pair of faded sneakers, get the look with our Muddy Waters Sneaker.
Nothin like some good elbow patches…

Lou loves motorcycle jackets! Get the look with our Vegan Leather Jacket.
This week’s style file is our Associate Buyer for accessories, who traveled to the US from England to work at Free People. Her style is quirky and avant garde. It’s full of color and pattern – often with a theme like neon or turquoise. I love the risks she takes. There’s no fear, and nothing is too outrageous. It is, however, always inspiring.

The skull bracelet is available in FP stores!
This week’s StyleFile is an effortless beauty who’s style has a laid back California beach vibe. I don’t know if it’s her long, wavy blonde locks, the colorful friendship bracelets, or the heart tattoo on her wrist that scream Cali, but it’s definitely there. She wears a lot of stellar grunge pieces – ripped and splattered jeans, a slouchy knit hat, baggy tees, and kicks. She’ll then mix it up with an awesome Native American inspired necklace or poncho. There’s no doubt, she looks like your quintessential American girl – active and full of life. Her vivacity can’t be restricted with pompous or tailored clothing – she has no time for that.
This photo makes me want Summer. And colorful bracelets…
She takes the formality out of a cable knit sweater with fringe layering
In this cold Winter weather, everyone needs a good throw on poncho to stay warm.
This week’s office style is dedicated to every girl’s number one fetish – shoes. There’s no shortage of killer kicks around this office. Every day I’m in awe of all the amazing shoes that appear. Some are so unique you can’t help but stop and stare while others have a chic that is equally paralyzing. It doesn’t matter if it’s a sneaker, boot, or wedge, each pair is perfection. See some of today’s amazing shoes for yourself…
