Remember a little while back, we shared a guest post from one of our stores associates in Brooklyn who makes really amazing crochet vests? Well our SoHo store is having a cool event this weekend and she will be raffling off four of her beautiful creations!
Stop by the store this weekend (November 19th & 20th) and purchase a “Cozy” Product: Sweaters, Scarves, Cold, Weather, Socks, etc – and we will enter your name in the raffle to win one of the four vests! Enjoy some hot cocoa and apple cider while you shop as well :)
The latest trend we can’t get enough of is Snow Angel. With a new chilliness to the air and less hours of sunshine in the day, we’re brightening our spirits with shades of pink, ivory and icy blue and cozy, comfy textures that warm our souls. Winter doesn’t have to be about black, gray and deep tones, it can be as light and airy as the snow outside :) This trend makes me think of sledding all day, rosy cheeks, icicles and candy canes!
Ever wonder who picks the music you hear in our stores? This is our music committee, we meet and listen to songs, and collectively decide which ones we think are a good fit for our stores! It’s one of my favorite meetings to attend :) Read More

Early Saturday morning I flew to Boston for our Holiday Crafting Party at Free People Cambridge. It was such an amazing day – we were blown away by the creativity of everyone who came to the event, and it was so great to just sit around a table, talking and crafting for a few hours! Here’s a photo diary of the day :)
It was an early flight…very early… but this sunrise made it ok.
Our Cambridge store is located at Harvard Square, a really cute little spot just outside Boston where Harvard University is located.
I loved these friendship bracelets one of our fp girls was rocking.
And this sick tattoo another fp girl drew herself!
One of our crafters, Nicole, blew me away with her style and creativity! She made the following braided hat band, necklace and bracelet. And her rad printed jacket is actually a men’s shirt that she found in Africa – amazing.
