grizzly bear, one of my favorite bands right now, just released this awesome video for their song “ready, able” on friday. the video is directed by allison schulnik, a claymation artist that the band likes…if you dig this video, you may also enjoy her short film “hobo clown,” which also features the music of grizzly bear.
one of my co-workers sent me this really cool video from the chanel spring/summer 2010 show during paris fashion week…they put a spy camera in the model’s hair before her runway walk! it’s really interesting to see from her perspective…
It’s super gray in Philly today, but I came across this video on Now Voyager and it’s making me glad! All those birdies are so cute and funny flying and tittering! The song is from the Amelie soundtrack – so wonderful!
This video is completely awesome. It’s made up of something like 35,000 photographs, and is a mix of stop motion and live projection mapping techniques. It takes about a minute to get really good, but after that – wow. I need some tights that light up like that. And a house that lights up like that too.
This video is a really neat paper animation, directed by Makoto Yabuki. Supposedly it represents thinking outside the box, and an artist getting inspiration – I just wish that papers would react like this when I draw!
This video makes me want to go to the aquarium right now! It was shot by Jon Rawlinson at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan. This particular tank is the second largest aquarium tank in the world! How fun would it be to be that scuba diver at the bottom…
Via Now Voyager. P.S. The fullscreen version is pretty rocking.
