back to the garden

i have a really wierd obsession with woodstock.  i wasn’t even alive back then but it pains me to think i wasn’t able to be a part of that experience.  our vintage buyer took a trip to bethel, new york,  and brought back some photos of the festival site and her friend’s place – i nearly died when i saw them. one day i will get there.

the tree-house-ish home reminds me of the homes i stayed in in the jungles of ecuador. beautiful!

love the painted cars, too, of course.

The hippy times were so grovy and the pot so good and the people so cool but all good things have to make way for the bad. Evil invaded all that love and poof it was gone. Yeah I was a part of that happening and now I’m 66 years old and looking back it was the best part of my life.

The old man in the picture looks like Santa Claus, really.
