monday quote

Then take me disappearin’ through the smoke rings of my mind
Down the foggy ruins of time, far past the frozen leaves
The haunted, frightened trees, out to the windy beach
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands
With all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves
Let me forget about today until tomorrow

This is so beautiful. My good friend was always into Bob Dylan, told me to listen to the poetry of “Spanish Boots and Leather”. I never did, because I thought Dylan sucked. But clearly, he does not. Thank you for the awesome post! Looking forward to more.

weird coincidence! I always check the free people monday quotes and if i like it i’ll add it to a book of quotes that i’ve made. any way, today i was about to add mr. tambourine man to the book, but i decided to check for the monday quote before, and it happens to be the exact lyric excerpt that i wanted to add. yay free people! beautiful, magical song that makes me want to dance. one of my favorite dylan songs
