Style File

This week’s Style File never ceases to inspire. She comes from a background at ASOS and Topshop in her homeland of Britain, and now works at Free People as the manager for retail and direct merchandising. With the position she carries a lot of responsibility. She’s one busy woman, but as the first to pet your dog in passing, and the amount of friendliness that she approaches coworkers with, you’d never know. Her brains, warm personality, and out of this world fashion sense can surely be cited in getting her to where she is today.

Above all, her passion for fashion shines through as one of her strongest assets. She’ll enthusiastically recall how long ago she bought the jacket on her back, and oh wait, she just realized it has a sticker on the inside from her old boyfriend’s band (she’s now married). She mixes in neon and toe rings for fun, and loves herself a good bohemian piece. Who can forget about the killer heels that she just can’t seem to get enough of? Whatever awesome look she’s wearing that day, it’s done with care, thought, and a desire for fun.

She picked up her alphabet earings from our new Rock Center store while up in NYC for the opening. In the other ear she wears a “D” for her husband.

Fringed scarves are a great throw on for spring. See some must-have Free People styles here.

On her jacket are pins that our vintage buyer picked up for her. And then she’s wearing toe rings on the top part of her finger! Such a great idea to get the most use out of your jewelry.
