Flower and Berry Ice Cubes

These creative little flower and berry ice cubes give added fun to any drink. Whether you’re hosting a party or just relaxing at home, why not add them in? The flowers are great because they’re absolutely beautiful, but if you’re looking for something that you won’t mind melting in your drink, try the berries since they’re edible. Either way, they’re the perfect addition of summertime happiness.

Flower Ice Cubes

You’ll Need:

1 Ice Cube Tray

1 Bouquet of Flowers

Water

Directions:

Break off flowers and fill each space on the ice cube tray

Smush the flowers down with your finger so that they stay at the bottom and don’t stick out of the tray

Fill with water as usual & freeze

1 Ice Cube Tray

2 Kinds of Berries

Water

Directions:

Fill each space on the ice cube tray with two berries, making sure that they don’t stick up above the tray

Fill with water as usual & freeze

If you use hot water, your cubes will freeze clear instead of cloudy. Just a helpful tip I learned on Pinterest :)

This is a beautiful result, but what flowers are you using? The recipe just says “a bouquet of flowers”. Some types of flowers are poisonous, or even fatal when eaten, so it would be nice if the readers knew what edible flowers you were using here.
