Festival Prep: DIY Tote Bags, Studding, & Festival Paint!

In preparation for our festival-themed event at Free People Corte Madera tomorrow I wanted to share some DIY projects that we’ll have on hand at the event – but for those of you who can’t make it, you can do all of these things very easily at home! When it comes to festivals, I’ve found that our Free People tote bags are the best bag to bring with you. They can easily fit your belongings and an extra layer in case it gets chilly at night, plus they’re super cute! For the event we’ll have tote bags on hand, along with fabric scraps and studs for you to personalize your tote bag for the festival (or just to use any day of the week), so that nobody has one like it. For more info on the event and to RSVP, visit the Facebook page.

Add a mix of different fabrics to give your bag a fun patchwork look.

Add some studs in a cool pattern or along one of the bag’s sides to give it some edge.

With any purchase you can also stud an article of clothing! Pick up a pair of cutoffs or a graphic tee and make it your own – we’ll have a few different kinds of studs to choose from!

I always enjoy doing DIY crafts. In fact, it became my business. Now, I am designing and making bags. I do have my own brand.

Incredible! This blog looks exactly like my old one!
