Leslie David is a graphic designer, art director and illustrator based in Paris whose work I recently came across and fell in love with. I love her use of color and am particularly fond of her editorials that feature black and white photography with bright, broad strokes of paint splashed over them – it adds such an interesting visual element. Her work ranges from graphic design to art concept direction, music illustration and packaging, and it is all so inspiring. The Paris images make me want to go get a bunch of vintage postcards and paint on them! Here are some of my favorites…
