The past week or so has been beyond hectic. It started with an early morning packed van ride up to New York City and ended with a wedding in Washington DC – in between, there was an afternoon spent riding around NYC in pedicabs handing out beautiful flowers and Free People gift cards, and our Fashion’s Night Out event the following night. A Friday morning drive back to Philly was followed by a drive to DC immediately after work. Hectic, yes, but also very fun. Here’s a glimpse at the past few days through my lens…
I must say, the pedicab is a great way to see the city… although I don’t know if I’d do it at rush hour, on a nice day it’s quite relaxing and an awesome way to see the landmarks and NYC’s most famous buildings.

For more about our FNO event check out our recap post! The wedding I attended in DC was held at the Omni Shoreham hotel, one of the most historic hotels in the city and has hosted several notable events and guests. The hotel’s Regency Ballroom hosted the inaugural balls for every subsequent president of the 20th Century starting with Roosevelt’s in 1933, but I was also pretty excited to learn that the Beatles booked an entire wing on the hotel’s 7th floor during their first US tour. :)
