Going To London? Don’t Miss Our Favorite Hotspots!

London. When you’re there, there’s always something to do. Whether you choose to explore a market on the weekend or sit in a coffee shop or pub for hours talking with friends and just simply enjoying the little things in life. I feel London is so diverse – there are a number of different subcultures within this city that you feel you never get bored.

Here are my 3 hotspots for East London:

Story Deli

Story is a beautiful deli located on East London’s Brick Lane. It’s a decorative location that resembles something of a cottage-like feel – big wooden butcher tables, old cupboards and washed wood.  They sell coffee and certified organic pizzas that are to die for. It’s definitely a place to go to grab a bite and watch the world outside for a couple of hours.

The Lido, London Fields

The Lido is an outside heated pool situated inside of the London Fields Park. It’s like a little haven to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Come rain or shine – or even snow – you will find people swimming here. It doesn’t get too busy and when it’s cold outside, there’s nothing nicer than swimming in a heated pool with trees and crispy cold air around you.

Broadway Flower Market

Columbia Road, full of boutiques and old pubs, comes to life on Sundays in London, with flowers and stalls selling arts and crafts and delicious food. This historic street becomes a destination for many people – the atmosphere is alive and the people are eccentric. It’s a great place to go if you want to capture some street fashion, too.
