Blogger Picks: What’s On Our Holiday Wish Lists

This time of year, it’s always fun to get gifts for the special people in your life and pick out that perfect something that you know they’ll love. But with so much awesome stuff in our holiday boutiques, it’s hard not to think about our own wish lists as well! It’s been awhile since we’ve shared our blogger picks so we decided to put together our holiday wish lists – maybe they’ll inspire some of your own gifts!

Julia’s Picks

This time of year I love basic, comfortable pieces that I can get a lot of use out of – but I also gravitate towards a little bit of sparkle in fun, unexpected pieces! I’ve had my eye on the Alameda Embellished Backpack for a while now. I love its unique embellishment and it’s the type of bag I would use all year round – it would be perfect at festivals! Every year I get a new Free People thermal, they are so warm and comfy and always have the cutest details. I love the new Blanket Stitch Embroidered Thermal, it’s perfect for Christmas morning. The Marrakesh Dress has such a cool shape and can be layered with tights, boots, and a sweater in winter and worn on its own in spring and summer. I’m wearing the Disco Sequin Harem Pants and while they are not the type of thing I would normally see myself wearing, once I put them on I fell in love! They are so festive and surprisingly comfortable. I would love to wear them to holiday parties and on New Year’s Eve! The Sunbelt Ankle Boot is part of our new FP Shoe Collection and it’s made of the softest suede. This pair feels like you’ve owned them and worn them for years – my kind of boots! Lastly, the Double Pom Pom Beanie is irresistibly cute and oh-so-warm.

Jemma’s Picks

I love the idea of mixing touches of metallics with heavy knits this holiday. Our Fear and Loathing Gold Leather Pants are perfect for this. Anything cozy and I’m good to go! Our Night Romper is that one item then you can wear comfortably around the house and then perhaps layer it with skirts and jeans to make up an outfit to run to the coffee shop come the weekends. Warm cardigans and sweaters become my best friends in the winter, dressed up with our Annie Oakley Skirt and Rose Meadow Cardigan  or a cool casual look with our Awesome Destroyed Baggies, We The Free Cable Stud Hoodie, and Myth Back Zip Boot. My looks are never complete without a leather jacket like Muubaa Biker Jacket  and Leather Band Fedora .

My winter wish list is casual, cool, with a touch of something special.

Brigette’s Picks

This year, when I think of the holidays, I’m feeling a lot of rich colors and textures, sparkles, and intricate details – and I think my wish list picks totally reflect that!

Intimately Free People V-Wire Bra: The mustard yellow color is what initially drew me into this bra – and when I noticed the deep-v neckline and thick, satiny band, I was totally sold. I would love to wear this to a holiday party under a dress that has thin straps or low armholes to show off the beauty of this piece.

Carpet Bag Circle Skirt: I love the textured, tapestry feel of this skirt, and its beautiful, flared shape. I’d pair it with a tight, black, low-back shirt and layer with lots of necklaces for a fun night at the bar.

Crystal Tiers Collar: This necklace is almost too fancy for me, but it’s the holidays, you guys! I think I might ditch the layered necklaces I just mentioned and pair the Carpet Bag Circle Skirt with THIS guy instead.

Noir Velvet Tunic: I absolutely love the velvet pattern and the bell sleeves of this piece. It makes me feel like I’m living in a magical place where every day feels like the holidays.

Mason Jar Lantern: This lantern is one of my favorite pieces from our home collection. It’s simple yet detailed, and so stunning up close. I would love to fill a room with 600 of these, light candles in them, and throw the best New Year’s Eve party of my life.

Blakely Heel: Cobalt is the newest color our Blakely Heels come in and I am borderline drooling over them. I’d pair these with an outfit of a million neutral-colored layers like black or gray and have the shoes be the star of the show.

HTC Myth Back Zip Boot: I’ll be the first to say I probably own enough black and brown boots, but I can’t help but want to add these to my collection. They add that perfect hint of “cool” to any outfit, and they go with absolutely everything.
