Monday Quote: Live In The Present
When I came across this quote the other day, it hit me hard just how true it is. I have always been such an anxious person but I never made the connection between that and my mind constantly living in the future. Read More

Inspiring Words: The World Is Yours
This week’s inspiring words come from an artist I have grown fond of. Wes Lang is a Brooklyn-based artist whose work has a haunting dark side, but yet still makes you smile somehow. His controversial work consists of collages of paintings and illustrations, his style is hugely influenced by the employment he had at a tattoo parlor after high school, which is evident in every single piece of his work. Saturday DO: Create A Calming Space
With all the hustle surrounding the holiday season, sometimes I completely forget how important it is to take time out to clear my head, relax, and unwind. Cozy winter cabins that can only be reached by dirt roads, with no electricity and a fireplace to keep me warm. Frosty windowpanes that look out into trees as far as the eye can see, rustic decor, and lots of blankets to wrap myself in…snuggling up with the one I love and a cup of hot chocolate, just enjoying the peace and quiet and beauty of nature. UPDATE: This post previously ran on October the 16th, but as we are continually in its cycle, we thought we would bring it back.
Whenever I feel a little unbalanced I usually blame it on the full moon, because I always find around this time I get emotional, touchy, and aggravated. Many people tell me it’s just a myth, but I’m pretty convinced that the moon’s pull has an impact on my body. Read More
