In our new January catalog there are a load of pretty spring dresses that I want to get my hands on and wear now. However, it’s still a little chilly outside. We wanted to see if there was a way to adapt these beautiful dresses into our winter wardrobe with a few extra layers, tights, and boots. We believed it could be possible… spring dresses in the winter, why not!?
Here, we took FP Brigette and Dylana and styled them in a way that made these spring dresses desirable for the winter.
We took the FP One Criss Cross Floral Maxi Dress worn by Bridgette on the right and layered it on top of our Victorian Lace Top added our Myth Back Zip Boot and our Clipperton Fedora.
Dylana wears our FP New Romantics Pantry Stripe Dress layered with our Knitted Hooded Denim Jacket . We joined together two scarves, our Tasseled Printed Scarf and a heavier knitted scarf, for extra warmth and the finished the look with our Stud Bullet Boot.
It made us happier knowing that we can now get away with wearing our beautiful January dresses in winter months!
I love what they are both wearing – great styling. It proves you can still wear warm weather clothing but with a few layers…something I have always done and get the strangest looks sometimes.
I love Brigette’s outfit! And I’m totally crushing on that Knitted Hooded Denim Jacket!

I love the idea. But if I wear dresses like that in winter on my town people would look at me like I’m a freak or something :'(
