When our Crochet Fringe Shorts came online, I loved them but was having a hard time trying to figure out how to style them, until these two looks clicked in my mind. They are perfect to wear with tunic style tops that hang slightly lower than your bottom, and we believe it’s best to team them with basic tops as the shorts themselves tell a full story.
For a day look in the summer months, we would team these shorts with a cool stripe tee like our We The Free Printed Millie Tank , and add a little interest at the waist with our Sundial Belt. Team them with some edgy ankle boots like our Alexey Boot and you have a look that’s easy-cool with a bit of difference.
We also love them as a beach cover-up, they are easy to pull on over your bikini bottoms. Just team them with a cute bikini like our Peace Train Elle Top, a cool and relaxed Boy Shirt, and add some sandals like our Ayden Slingback Sandal and a beach tote and you’re good to go, a perfect laid back beach look for a day at the shore.
I definintely would wear them…I have a pair of crochet shorts I wear only to the beach…they are brown with purple outline. I can see myself wearing the black…to the beach of course. White is a bit tricky for me – well maybe – if I tie dye them…hmmmm, they would look so cool! these are also a good length so you can layer lightly and still see a bit of fringe peeking thru…
