Like A Rolling Stone: Lookbook Behind The Scenes

Our latest lookbook, Like a Rolling Stone, is quite possibly my favorite we’ve done…ever. Sometimes everything just comes together flawlessly, – the model, the art direction, the styling, the hair & makeup, and the photography – and this is absolutely one of those times.  I hung around the studio last week on the day of shooting to watch the magic happen, and it was such a fun shoot to witness! It was also great to have model Elsa Hosk back at Free People – you probably recognize her from some of our favorite catalogs like Paris in January 2011 and the holiday decades book from November 2011. Clothes ready to be styled!

Hair & Makeup.

The first outfit of the day is the Washed Out Textured Maxi worn with an armful of layered bangles.

Last minute touching up, and it’s time to shoot!

The second outfit was one of my favorites: the amazing Gypsy Vest worn over the Lace Up Crop Cami with the Flat Brim Hat, Vintage Kuchi Coin Necklace, Blazer Wrap Ankle Boot, more layered bangles and amazing red trousers.

Our stylists brilliantly layered the Daisy Lace Dress over the FP New Romantics Flower Bomb Maxi, with the amazing FP Collection Heartland Boot.
