February is a tricky month for fresh local fruits and vegetables. Luckily, there will be newly in-season produce coming in from the warmer states. Keep your eyes out for some fresh berries! Otherwise, try to make the most out of what is in season all year ’round. Mushrooms are a great addition to any meal this month. I recommend roasting them with red wine, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, crushed garlic, and fresh herbs. Mix them with quinoa, a salad, or throw them on a sandwich.

Great list! For this time of year, you will want to consider vegetables that grow well in cool temperatures that can be grown locally – crucifers (like broccoli, kale, and cabbage), Swiss chard, radishes, green onions, carrots and beets), and vegetables that are in season in warmer climates – like citrus! Of course, every vegetables is in season somewhere, but the most quality vegetables come from not too far away!
Fantastic~! Thanks
