A summer jacket is a must for those days when there’s a little breeze. A lightweight jacket that’s fun, summery and cool enough to throw on top of your tank tops and pretty dresses. We love summer jackets that have prints, embroidery and cool details on them. They make an outfit come alive and don’t shy away from the fun wardrobe that summer is known for.

Desert Garden Inspiration From Palm Springs, CA
As soon as we pulled up to our house in Palm Springs last week, one thing that immediately struck me was how beautiful the plant life was – and how different it was to what I’m used to on the East Coast. I’ve always had a thing for desert plants — and I have lots of little potted succulents scattered all around my home — but to see them actually growing from the ground was so cool. There were so many different kinds of cacti… all different shapes and colors; some with flowers, some without. It was all too gorgeous not to share with you all. Read More

The Beauty Of Star Gazing
“Magic exists. Who can doubt it, when there are rainbows and wildflowers, the music of the wind and the silence of the stars? Anyone who has loved has been touched by magic. It is such a simple and such an extraordinary part of the lives we live.”
~ Nora Roberts
I believe in magic, every time I look at the stars in the sky long enough the feeling of magic runs through me. The longer you stare the more they appear, captivating you more and more second by second. Read More

My Sam had a bowl of brown rice porridge with blueberry rhubarb jam and what I love most is that they use a whole vanilla bean in each bowl. Read More

Yesterday was the day we’ve all been waiting for: the kickoff of our favorite music festival– and it was a beautiful day indeed. Our morning was filled with relaxed activity as we ate a poolside breakfast, did a DIY with Jenni from I Spy DIY, had a few visitors, and got ready for the festival! We headed off to day 1 of the festival, where we documented some incredible festival fashion, saw some brilliant bands, and danced the day away. Here’s a little peek at day two of our trip. Shop-able Street Style: Statement Black And White
This week’s shop-able street style comes from LA — a monochrome outfit that’s easy but makes a statement. We love how fun this sweater is and how it’s long enough to make a tunic-style dress. She has teamed it with ankle booties, making the look cool and desirable.
