Our summer displays are making their way into our stores, and this week I had the opportunity to see for myself at our Walnut Street location. I’m always mesmerized by the work done by our display team, and this time was no exception. Oh my goodness. It was like walking into a summer wonderland. Fringe and macramé hung everywhere, in pinks and yellows that reminded me of homemade lemonade on a summer day, and blues and greens that took my mind straight to the ocean. One of my favorite elements were the circular discs that hung from the ceiling throughout the store. A bunch of them were hung by an air vent, and I was told by the store manager that when the music goes off at night, it sounds like a rainforest in there – and then I heard it. If you listen closely, you might just hear it yourself. Be sure to visit your local Free People store to check out the beautiful display this summer. And, until then, enjoy a few photos from our Walnut Street store in Philly!
