Monday Quote: Go Someplace You’ve Never Been Before

“Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before.” -Dalai Lama

Exploration ignites excitement and curiosity in our souls. If I could travel to a new place every day, I would jump at that opportunity in a heartbeat. Sometimes we get so used to our daily routines and immediate surroundings that we forget there’s a whole world full of different people, places and cultures. I think that exposing yourself to a new place at least once a year is one of the most rewarding things you can do with your time and money. With the summer months quickly approaching, now is the perfect time to think about little getaways you can take with your friends to explore someplace new. Even if it’s just hopping in the car and driving for a few hours in one direction until you get to an interesting town, the feeling of being on a journey is always fun and exciting.

What adventures do you have planned for the summer?

Oh there is nothing I love more than road trips and traveling!!! :D

I love this!
There are so many places in this world to see and so little time!

Road Trip to Florida with my sister!! I can’t wait, summer is getting here so fast.

I try to do this, but flying is really expensive when you live in Hawaii!

I love that! We make sure we do that each year last year was travelling around Thailand, this year who knows ;)

I am from Sweden and ended up after much travelling in Australia; I have now lived here for 12 years. But I have always felt a strange “pull” from Kyrgyzstan and also East Turkestan/Xinjiang (Western China). I can’t explain it; it has always been there, it is completely random. Maybe one day I just have to go and find out.

Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before :) Tks for your post

I am really going to try and live by this…. I want to explore the world with my family..

Thanks for the posts!
