UK Off The Beaten Track

One of my favourite things to do when I lived in London, was ironically getting out of London on the weekends! Away from all the hustle and bustle of the city, visiting my hometown in Wales was  an instant de-stresser. Anglesey is a small island of the North West coast of Wales steeped in Celtic history, surrounded by beautiful beaches and rolling fields. I spent 18 years growing up there and yet every time I go back to visit I discover something new. Roadtrippin’ round the island with good friends, a camera and a picnic, it’s amazing how much you can find when you take a detour, a wrong turn or a new route in places you think you know so well. Away from the distractions of urban living, nothing feels better than spending time outdoors with good friends under the open sky.

These photos are so beautiful! I would love to go to England! My mother grew up there, yet I’ve never been.

I miss living in London dearly, but some of my best memories are when my friends and I would go exploring on adventures with no real plan. I think with the right group, a positive attitude, and snacks, you’ll simply have the best time no matter what you’re doing together. Xx
