This week’s lookbook, “After Hours,” has a different feel than others we’ve done recently. Shot in New York City by Guy Aroch, the lookbook features model Ashley Smith in a hotel room overlooking the city lights at night. Rich textures like velvet, fringe, beading, and a subtle shine make for a dark, moody look and a girl who is ready to take on the night. The images bring to mind brisk evenings, throwing on a jacket over a short, flirty skirt with tights and heels, and dancing down twinkling streets to the warmth of wherever that night is taking you… Here’s a closer look at two of my favorite outfits from the lookbook — one more girly, and one for the tomboy in me!
What’s your favorite outfit from the After Hours lookbook?
This outfit caught my eye immediately — I love that it’s girly, but with enough of an edge that a tomboy could easily wear it too. It’s such an easy look to throw together, and perfect for the upcoming season of holiday parties!
Get the look: FP X Show Girls Mini Skirt, LA Nite Tank, Coin Vest, Black Opaque Tight, Sparrow Chelsea Boot, Skinny Hard Bangle Set, Art Nouveau Tear Drop.
This second look is all about these amazing pants — corduroy? Check. Amazing print? Check. Flares? Check. They’ve got everything I love in a pair of pants, and all you need to pair them with is a simple sheer blouse, leather jacket, and you’re set.
Get the look: Printed Cord Super Flare, Sheer Oversize Pintuck Ruffle Shirt, Classic Biker Jacket, Opulence Ankle Boot, Brass Cluster Bracelet.
